"Yuki!" Yuzuha shouts. You push yourself off her and slowly stand up. Your legs feel weak, and your body feels cold. You feel so heavy and you ache so much. You rub your head as you question the small bits of those odd memories playing through your head. You slowly shuffle towards Kokonoi who is terrorizing Hakkai.
"hey..." You struggle to say. Kokonoi slowly looks towards you with a glare. You hold your hand out and slap Kokonoi in the face. His eyes widen and so did Hakkai's.
"YUKI!" Chifuyu yells as he rushes towards you, but Inui hits him down.
"The fuck-" Kokonoi slowly looks at you. "Did you just slap me?"
"This is stupid... you're stupid- so I slapped your stupid face." You slur. You feel weird as you talk, almost like you are on some kind of drug. Kokonoi grabs you tightly, preparing to hit you. Hakkai pushes Kokonoi off you and punches Kokonoi in the face.
Kokonoi stubbles back and rubs his cheek. Hakkai has tears streaming down his face.
"You're right... this is stupid." Hakkai says. Taiju slowly turns to look in Hakkai's direction. "THIS IS ALL SO FUCKING STUPID!" He yells. "I shouldn't be acting like a scared little bitch... letting a female who can barely stand for herself fight for me... I'm so fucking pathetic..." He hysterically laughs. "I'm sick of being a little bitch! I'm going to kill you ALLL!" He shouts. Taiju fully turns towards Hakkai with a cocky smile on his face.
"Yeah... really?" He says in a mocking tone. Hakkai clenches his fist and glares at Taiju. "Once... a bitch... always a bitch." He continues.
"He may be a bitch... but at least he doesn't put his hands on women." Mitsuya huffs as he charges at Taiju. Taiju quickly turns and backhands Mitsuya in the head, throwing him back and on the ground. Hakkai charges towards Taiju. Kokonoi tries to stop Hakkai but instead gets hit again by Hakkai. Hakkai lets out a satisfied scream.
"Come at me little bitch... come kill me..." Taiju says in a mocking tone. Hakkai rushes towards Taiju preparing to hit him when suddenly the door to the church opens. Your eyes widen when you see who it is.
"Ah... Yuki~ I found you." Mikey bubbles.
"Mikey?" You softly say feeling confused.
"Let's go riding..." He softly says.
"Mi-key..." Mitsuya groans. Mikey slowly looks towards Mitsuya and his eyes relax. He looks towards Taiju and then at Kokonoi who is on the ground. His eyes wander towards Chifuyu who is panting and Inui who is glaring at Mikey. Then his eyes stop at Hakkai. "What's going on here?" Mikey asks with a smile on his face.
"Mikey..." You softly say again. You stumble forward and fall over after your legs give up on you. Mikey quickly looks towards you and heads in your direction. Taiju steps in front of him, smiling down at him.
"You're in my way." Mikey says in a dull tone, not even looking at Taiju.
"And you weren't invited..." Taiju huffs. Mikey's eyes wander all over you as you lay helpless on the ground.
"Did you do that to her?" He asks with no emotion.
"The bitch didn't know how to mind her business..."
"That wasn't my question." Mikey interrupts.
"Mikey... don't" Mitsuya grunts as he tries to get up. "If you fight him... then the black dragons and-"
"I don't care about the agreement..." Mikey interrupts. "I will ask again... did you hurt her?" He says in a stern voice, looking up towards Taiju. Taiju scowls and clenches his fists. He hits Mikey hard in the face knocking him down.
"Mikey!" Mitsuya yelps. Hakkai's eyes widen as he stumbles back. The feeling of vibration buzzing under you causes you to groan a bit. You slowly move your arm towards the vibration, pulling your phone out. You flip it open, struggling to focus on the screen. The contact says grandma.
"He beat the invincible Mikey..." Inui says in shock. Chifuyu quickly gets up in anger and tries to hit Inui but he quickly hits Chifuyu back down. You slowly push yourself up, still staring at your phone screen as a voicemail notification pops up on it.
"You disappoint me..." Mikey slowly says as he pushes himself up. Taiju glares at him. "You are the leader of the black dragon..." He asks. Taiju doesn't respond. "You're strong... but you've got no heart- Taiju."
"The fuck you say to me?!" Taiju yells. Mikey stares at him with a blank look in his eyes. Mikey tries to move past Taiju but Taiju tries to hit Mikey again. Mikey dodges his hit and quickly moves. He jumps up in the air and kicks Taiju down. Your eyes widen when you see Taiju on the ground.
"Huh?" Kokoinoi's eyes widen as he pushes himself up.
"Boss..." Inui shakily says.
"In one hit... he got knocked out in one hit..." Hakkai gasps. Mikey stares deeply into your eyes. You sit frozen as you look back at Mikey. He slowly moves towards you but Taiju gets back up grunting. Mikey stops and looks at Taiju.
Your heart flutters and you begin to feel shaky. You push yourself up off the ground and rush towards the other exit.
"Yuki..." Yuzuha says as you push the door open. Mikey quickly looks in your direction as the door closes behind you. You stumble down the stairs, almost dropping your phone. You stop at the wall and slide down it. You tightly grip your phone as you click a button, holding the phone up to your ear. The voicemail plays.
Your eyes widen as you listen to the voicemail. Your breath hitches and your heart sinks. You quickly push yourself up and you quickly walk away.
"Yuki!" Mikey shouts as he pushes the door open. He stops when he sees you were gone.
You make your way down the street. Across the street there is the hospital. You quickly make your way into the hospital trying your best to find your grandma. When you find her, you see her quietly sitting beside Hikari.
"Grandma..." You say shakily. Your grandma looks up at you.
"Is grandpa..."
Her eyes get teary. Your eyes widen and you begin to feel a pain in your chest as you try to hold in your cries.
Time passes quickly as you sit bawled up in the corner of the waiting room. Your body hurts and your face is red. You feel exhausted. Your grandma sits beside you. Her tired eyes stay on the surgery room light. Your grandpa had a stroke and collapsed, hitting his head hard against something. When Hikari found him, he was covered in blood and convulsing. His chance of survival is very low... not even just that... but if he does survive he might be a vegetable in the end. You clench onto the blanket covering you. You feel a mixture of anger and guilt.
The light to the surgery room turns off. Your grandma shoots up and clenches her jacket. A man walks out the surgery room with a calm face.
"Did he make it?" Your grandma asks in a sad and shaky tone. The man nods. Your grandma cries feeling relieved. Hikari begins to cry. You look at the both of them as they do. You clench the blanket, pulling it towards you more.
After they put your grandpa in a room. You got to see him. His face looked strange. The doctor says that people who have strokes tend to lose facial strength and their face will often look like that. He was asleep and hooked up to a bunch of machines. The sight is hard to watch. Hikari insisted for you to go home and rest since you looked and felt sick. You wanted to argue it but you struggled to keep yourself up. You agreed to leave the hospital.
Hikari brought you back to your grandparents house. She gave you a nice warm blanket and tea to drink.
You begin to take your clothes off, preparing to take a shower when suddenly you heard your phone vibrate. You slowly walk towards the phone and pause when you see the familiar caller number. You grab the phone and held the phone up to your ear.
"Hello?" You sniffle.
"Hey... Yuki... it's been a while..." The voice says.
"Who is this?"
"Oh... haha... right- this is Aimi..."
"Aimi..."
"I was wondering if we can meet up and chat a bit before I go back to America..."
"..."
"If that's okay..." She softly says. You pull your phone away from your ear, staring at the time on the phone. It's five fifty-two am.
"Why're you calling so early?" You ask. There is a pause from the other end of the phone call.
"Because I will be leaving this afternoon..."
"Oh... so early..."
"Yeah... I just- wanted to say goodbye before I go..."
There was a hint of sadness in her voice. You furrow your eyebrows. You feel so ill, but you want to see Aimi. You take a deep breath and slowly nod.
"Okay... where do you want to meet?"
