"Help? What makes you think I believe that bullshit!?" Chifuyu huffs, slamming his hands down on the table. Kisaki smiles at him and sighs, slowly standing up from the table. Chifuyu and you slide out the booth and stare at Kisaki.
"I do believe we should do more than just sit here and do nothing... so, wanna work together?" He softly asks.
"Why the fuck would we work with you?" Chifuyu fumes. Kisaki steps closer to Chifuyu, leaning towards him. Kisaki has an irritated look on his face. You furrow your eyebrows at Kisaki.
"What makes you think you and her will be able to take on the Black Dragons alone?" Kisaki huffs. "Besides... do you really think anyone else will help you? You both are traitors... remember that."
"Tch." Chifuyu clenches his fists and glares at Kisaki.
"Mikey is getting weak... and I've been wanting to take down the Black Dragons... they've been getting stronger lately... This will be my one and only time to take them down." Kisaki states.
"Weak?" Chifuyu grumbles. He grabs the milkshake and smashes it on the edge of the table, then he points the broken shard towards Kisaki's neck. "I don't know who you think you are... and what right you have to belittle Mikey like that- but watch your fucking mouth. He's your senior! Have some fucking respect!" He fumes. "And I don't give a shit if I'm considered a traitor or not... you aren't any fucking better than me! We are the same age... remember that."
Kisaki narrows his eyes at Chifuyu. You furrow your eyes and slowly move toward Chiufyu but someone grabs you from behind and holds a blade to your neck. You can feel the cold, sharp blade up against your skin.
"Hey hey... You have to remember... we have any and all right to end you right here and right now... maybe chose your words and actions carefully~" Hanma soothes. Chifuyu slowly looks towards you and furrow his eyebrows. "I don't have a problem with slicing her neck open~" he adds.
Chifuyu clenches onto the glass and quickly pulls away. Hanma lets go of you and you slowly touch your neck. Chifuyu grabs you by the wrist, pulling you towards the exit of the restaurant.
"So... that's it? You don't even wanna consider the help?" Kisaki softly says, smiling at the both of you. Chifuyu stops walking and squeezes your hand.
"Baji did say... that Kisaki would have some part of this." You quietly say to Chiufyu. Chifuyu's eyes widen and he sighs, turning towards Kisaki.
"Why should I even consider your help?" Chifuyu questions.
"I have a reliable source..." Kisaki slowly says.
"Huh?" Chifuyu huffs.
"There's a rat amongst the Black Dragons."
"A rat?" Chifuyu questions.
"Mhm... You know what... just follow me- I don't wanna stand around trying to explain it to you..." he huffs walking out the restaurant, Hanma follows behind him. Chifuyu sighs and looks at you.
"Yuki..."
"Hm?"
"I don't trust him at all... but we should see what he has to show."
"Baji would want us to anyway." You add.
"Mhm... I don't wanna let Baji-san down... so let's go- but don't let go of my hand." He says, pulling you out the restaurant. Kisaki stands still outside, waiting for the two of you to follow him. "Show us this rat that you're talking about." Chifuyu calmly says. Kisaki slightly smiles and nods.
"Who are those two?" A guy asks in a nervous tone, motioning to you and Chifuyu. The four of you are in some sort of lounge, sitting across from the so called rat.
"Randoms who work with me... you don't need to worry about them- they won't let anyone know about any of this... I'll make sure of that." Kisaki blankly says.
"Yeah~" Hanma softly bubbles, wrapping his arm around you. You furrow your eyebrows and Chifuyu glares at Hanma. Hanma smiles back at him.
"Are you sure? If any of this gets out..."
"No one will rat you out." Kisaki interrupts. The guys slowly nods and takes a deep breath. "So... do you have an answer to my question earlier?"
"Mhm... you said you wanna know what my boss does on a daily... right?"
"Yes. I want to know his movements." Kisaki says nodding.
"Movements?" Chifuyu quietly says, staring at Kisaki out the side of his eye.
"Yes... If we want to beat someone... then we need to know where they go and what he does." Kisaki whispers back, not looking at Chifuyu. "So, tell me... What does he do on a day-to-day basis..."
"Right... I'm his assistant so I know what he does everyday..." The guy takes a deep breath and leans forward. "He.. well-"
The beads hanging above the door pane click as they hit each other, and someone slowly walks in. The guy looks in the direction of the door and freezes. He has fear in his eyes. Kokonoi slowly looks towards him and smiles.
"A birdy told me... that there was a rat-" Kokonoi softly says, slowly looking at the guy.
"K- Koko-kun..." The guy quavers.
"That was fast..." Chifuyu sighs.
"Fuck" Kisaki quietly groans.
"Damn~" Hanma softly says.
"You know... the last rat we had couldn't handle his punishment... He had disappeared and all... I heard he had... killed himself~" Kokonoi softly bubbles.
"WAIT WAIT! YOU'VE GOT IT ALL WRONG! I WAS JUST... UH... TALKING- TO MY FRIEND AND... HIS GIRL! THOSE TOMAN GUYS THEY- WELL... THEY CAME ALONG... YOU SEE THE NERD OVER THERE... HES MY FRIEND... AND- THE GIRL!"
"Is V..." Kokonoi softly says smiling at you. The guy's eyes widen and he quickly looks at you.
"V...? V!" He panicks. Chifuyu furrows his eyebrows and squeezes your hand again.
"PLEASE THIS ISN'T WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" The guy cries and drops down to the ground, bowing to Kokonoi. "I'M SORRY!"
"You talk a lot..." Kokonoi says in an emotionless tone. He tilts his head and puts his foot on the guy's head, pushing it down to the floor. "If you're going to bow down to me then you should be practically kissing the floor." He says in a stern tone. He moves his foot from off him and the guy slowly looks up at him.
"So... can I... leave? Will you let this go and forget about this?" The guy quavers.
"Mmm... Nah! Torture time for you~" Kokonoi says smiling at the guy and leaning towards him. The guy shivers and tears start falling from his eyes.
"PLEASE NO! I'M SORRRY! I WILL DO ANYTHING!"
"Get this dickwad out my sight." Kokonoi sighs. Two guys walk into the room and grabs the guy, dragging him away. You can hear his screams as he gets pulled away. "Now now... For the rest of you~" Kokonoi softly says turning towards the four of you.
"We aren't here to fight..." Kiskai calmly says. Kokonoi stares at him for a bit before his eyes drift towards the cash on the table.
"One hundred thousand..." Kokonoi quietly says, staring back at Kisaki. "Alright... for one hundred thousand... I'll tell ya what you wanna know." He says smiling at Kisaki. Kisaki grabs the money and stands up, walking towards Kokonoi. He holds the money out towards him and looks him in the eyes.
"I want to know when your boss is alone." Kisaki says. Kokonoi tilts his head to the side and smiles.
"Mmm... that's a- tough question... I think I'm going to need more..."
"How much more...?" Kisaki asks, tilting his head down a bit and staring up at Kokonoi. Kokonoi's eyes drift towards you and his smile grows more.
"Give me the hundred grand and the girl..." He softly says. Chifuyu moves forward a bit preparing to stand up but Hanma grabs the back of his shirt pulling him back. Kisaki stares back at you and then towards Kokonoi.
"I can't do that." Kisaki sighs.
"Then... I don't have anything to tell you." Kokonoi says walking towards the door.
"I'll double it." Kisaki quickly and calmly says. Kokonoi stops and looks towards Kisaki.
"Triple it."
"Fine." Kisaki sighs. Kokonoi smiles, turning completely towards Kisaki. Kisaki pulls money out his pocket, combining it with the one hundred thousand and holding it out towards Kokonoi. Kokonoi takes the money and puts it in his pocket. He smiles and looks Kisaki in the eyes.
"The boss is never alone. He's always got people with him... but-" He puts both his hands in his pocket and stares at Kisaki with a blank expression on his face. "There's one day he is alone."
"And when is that?" Kisaki calmly asks, with a stern expression on his face.
"Christmas night... Boss is a rather... serious Christian... Every Christmas night he goes to church to pray... by himself." Kokonoi says in a calm tone. Kisaki slowly nods and looks at both you and Chifuyu. "Is that it?" Kokonoi asks.
"Yes... that's all." Kisaki says, looking back at him. Kokonoi smiles and turns away then stops at the door.
"Ya know... boss is strong... do you think the four of you have a chance against him? Even alone... he can hold his own ground very well..." Kokonoi sooths, looking back at the four of you. He looks forward and scoffs as he walks down the hallway. "I love Christmas." He laughs.
The four of you stare at the door, silently. You let go of Chifuyu's hand and walk towards the door, staring at Kokonoi as he walks down the hall.
"Why did you tell us that? Isn't that betraying the one you follow? Isn't that betraying your boss?" You rasp. Kokonoi stops walking and looks back at you. Chifuyu quickly walks towards you and grabs your hand. Kokonoi smiles at you and sighs.
"If you wanna know more, then come with me... I'll tell you anything you want to know~" He soothes.
"She's good." Chifuyu huffs. Kokonoi's eyes dart towards Chifuyu and he laughs. He continues down the hall. His boots clack as he walks away. Chifuyu sighs and looks towards Kisaki.
"Why would you ask him that...? Now their guard will be up." Chifuyu says to Kisaki. Kisaki stares blankly at Chifuyu.
"I didn't ask him that because I wanted to attack Taiju when he's alone." Kisaki blankly says.
"Then why?" You question.
"Hakkai is going to kill Taiju... right?"
"So, you've been listening in on us the whole time then... huh?" Chifuyu huffs.
"Something like that..." Chifuyu completely turns towards Kisaki and glares at him. "Either way... if Hakkai is going to kill Taiju... he's going to obviously do it when he's alone."
"Right..." You quietly say looking down.
"So, if you want to save Hakkai... then on Christmas night... that's when you will do it."
"You went this far to get information to help us...?" You say in a confused tone.
"Yes... Of course... We were friends before weren't we... Besides I wouldn't mind going to all this trouble to help out a... friend."
"Bullshit..." Chifuyu quietly huffs.
"Let's do this together... Let's save Hakkai and defeat the Black Dragons." Kisaki calmly says, staring at you.
"Thanks- but no." Chifuyu sighs, turning away and pulling you with him.
"Do you still think you can defeat the Black Dragons alone?" Kisaki questions. Chifuyu stops walking and looks back at Kisaki. You slowly look at Kisaki too.
"I don't get it... You're a captain in Toman... right? Isn't helping a traitor out- and breaking a truce between the Black Dragons and Toman taboo? So... why the hell are you trying to team up with us and help us?" Chifuyu huffs, glaring at Kisaki.
"Heheh... he looks like an idiot trying to be all big and bad with those dumb ass glasses on." Hanma chuckles. Kisaki closes his eyes and takes a deep breath while resting his hand in his pockets.
"Look... The thing is- Mikey isn't going to last much longer." He slowly says.
"What do you mean?" You calmly ask. Kisaki looks at you and relaxes his eyes.
"Haven't you noticed... how sensitive he's gotten?"
"Tch" Chifuyu quickly turns around and approaches Kisaki.
"I mean... after he killed Kazutora-" He starts. Chifuyu stops walking and stares at him. "And after Baji cut him off completely... Mikey has been very- sensitive to things lately... a lot more- then what he shows."
"Huh?" Chifuyu huffs.
"He acts like none of this bothers him... but he had mentioned to me not long ago- that he's afraid everyone will turn against him... that... he's losing himself. I'm worried about Mikey... If we don't do anything now, then... Toman will fall apart completely." Kisaki continues. Your eyes widen and Chifuyu's grip tightens.
"BULLSHIT! You don't give a shit about Mikey! YOU ARE THE REASON THIS SHIT IS HAPPENING IN THE FIRST PLACE!" Chifuyu shouts.
"Hm? And who told you that? Baji?" Kisaki asks in a calm tone.
"Doesn't matter who told me... We are not going to fucking work with you-" Chifuyu fumes, pulling you away with him.
"Yuki... you owe me." Kisaki calmly says. Your eyes widen and Chifuyu quickly looks at you. "Two million yen... remember?" Your eyes relax and you look down. Chifuyu clenches his jaw and looks back at Kisaki.
"Fucking asshole..." Chifuyu mumbles under his breath.
"You can go Chifuyu... I don't care if you help me or not... but Yuki- you have no choice." Kisaki says, looking directly at you.
"And what will you do if she doesn't listen to you?" Chifuyu asks in an irritated tone while looking back at Kisaki. Kisaki smiles at him and tilts his head a bit.
"Do you really wanna know...?" He soothes. You furrow your eyebrows at him. "I'll give you twenty-four hours to think about it... If you don't give me an answer by then... I'll pay you a visit myself... Yuki..." He softly says, smiling at you sadistically.
"TCH-" He grabs you by the wrist and drags you out the building. Once you both make it outside Chifuyu lets go of your hand and grabs the glasses off his face, throwing them down on the ground very hard. He leans against the wall, and hunches over, resting his hands above his knees and his hair hanging down a bit. You stare at him with a soft look in your eyes.
"Chifuyu..." You softly say reaching for him.
"Basically... you have no choice but to work with him." He sighs.
"Yeah..." You slowly say.
"I'm not going to leave you alone with him... I hope you know that."
"Thank you."
"We should talk to Baji before agreeing to this though." He says looking back at you.
"Okay." You nod.
