"Mate is acting strange." Ares pointed out for the nth time, and I was starting to get suspicious as well. Aurora's scent has altered a bit as well, and she looked tired the entire journey, and even when we reached the pack, despite sleeping for more than three hours.
Once we were done with our meal, an omega escorted us to our room. "Thank you." I thanked the omega who bowed at me before leaving. "What are you waiting for?" I asked Aurora as she lingered near the doorway.
"Can't I get another room?" she asked me, and it almost pained me to hear that she doesn't even want me in the same room as her.
"We don't want Alpha Tyler asking a lot of unnecessary questions, Aurora. I will sleep on the floor, you can take the bed." I told her as I walked into the room, not waiting to hear her answer.
