Spencer chuckled softly. "You don't need to worry too much. Selena is impulsive. Look how quickly she confessed to liking Mia after just one class. Who knows what she will think tomorrow?"
Aurora did not laugh. Her face stayed serious. "I don't think it is just impulsive. The way Selena looks at Mia… it is the same way you look at me. It feels real. And that makes me uneasy. I think Selena is going to be a trouble."
Before she could explain more, Aurora's phone buzzed. It was a call from Emily.
Aurora's fingers tightened around her phone as Emily's calm voice came through the speaker.
"Aurora, I have good news. A new investor just came in. Our sales have shot up again."
Aurora's breath caught in her throat. She swallowed hard and asked softly, "How much this time?"
