264 STRUCK !!!
Leo remained silent, his mind racing.
They quickly summoned their dragon apparitions rising to confront Hera. But the dragons were no match for the goddess. Her divine power swatted them aside like flies, their roars of defiance silenced in an instant.
"Don't worry, Lord Gullee. You're not alone this time," General Nahum declared, his voice steady.
Behind him, the apparition of a towering archer materialized, drawing back a massive, summoned bow.
"Archer of Justice"
With a thunderous release, the archer fired a powerful arrow at Hera's apparition. The strike caused the goddess to stagger slightly, but it wasn't enough to inflict significant damage.
"This isn't working! We can't defeat her!" Petunia shouted, frustration evident in her voice.
Leo didn't respond.
Instead, he dashed toward Aseran, his hands transforming into razor-sharp dragon claws. He needed to take the fight to the source. If he killed Aseran, then the apparition would be gone naturally.
"You dare challenge me to close combat? I am Lord Aseran of Deghad, the greatest swordsman in Sodom!" Aseran roared, raising his gleaming sword.
Their weapons clashed, sparks flying as steel met dragon claw. Aseran's skill was undeniable—his movements were precise, his strikes deadly.
Leo was not as skilled with a sword.
He relied on his superior speed and agility to keep up. He dodged and weaved, narrowly avoiding Aseran's lethal lunges.
But Leo wasn't relying solely on his own skills to defeat Aseran. As the two closed in on each other, Leo activated a powerful combo magic:
"Aura of Immobility."
The air around him seemed to thicken, slowing to a crawl as the spell took effect.
"What is this magic?" Aseran demanded, his movements visibly sluggish as he struggled against the invisible force.
"The Aura of Immobility," Leo replied, a hint of triumph in his voice. It was a rare and potent ability, one that allowed him to cast an aura capable of immobilizing most mages.
"What is this air.. this presence that weighs me?" Lord Aseran complained.
"Idiot."
But just as Leo began to feel confident, Aseran suddenly surged forward, his movements accelerating despite the aura. "Your crappy aura is useless against me!" he taunted, his voice dripping with disdain.
Leo's eyes widened in shock.
His trump card, the one he had counted on to turn the tide, had failed. "Fuck, how did he break free from my Immobility aura?" he muttered under his breath.
At that moment, Vanessa materialized beside him, her voice calm but urgent. "Your Aura of Immobility only works on weaker mages. Against a peak mage like Aseran, especially one whose body is fueled by the sacrificed blood of his men, the aura won't have much effect."
Leo gritted his teeth as frustration boiled over. "Then how the hell am I supposed to stop him now?"
"You can still touch him, the magic of touch is far more potent than the air of it," Vanessa replied simply.
Leo shot her an incredulous look. "Fuck, he's a master with that bloody sword! I can't even get close to him!"
Vanessa's gaze was steady, her tone unwavering. "Then you'll have to find another way. The aura may not hold him, but it still slows him down a little. Use that to your advantage."
Leo clenched his fists, his mind racing. Aseran was closing in again, his blade gleaming with deadly intent. Leo knew he had to act fast.
"Damn it, how do I get close to him?" Leo muttered to himself.
"It's impossible for anyone to get near me," Aseran screamed defiantly.
On the other side of the battlefield, the city guards were struggling to hold back Hera's apparition. She lunged at the soldiers, scattering their formation and sending many to the ground.
"Hah! My apparition will finish those fools off and then deal with you!" Aseran gloated, his confidence unshaken.
"The bitch Hera won't save you," Leo shot back, his focus was unwavering.
Just as the situation seemed dire, another army emerged on the horizon.
"About bloody fucking time", Leo cried.
It was the Gullee army, led by Grammers. The soldiers quickly formed a powerful magic array, summoning massive chains that ensnared Hera's apparition, restraining her movements.
"Chains of Gullee."
It was a spell that Yun-Yun taught them which given enough power could capture even Man tiered beings.
"Those soldiers of yours aren't enough to stop a Man-tier apparition," Aseran sneered, though a flicker of doubt crossed his face.
He was right. They were still short of the manpower needed to fully subdue the powerful apparition of Hera.
But then, a deafening war cry echoed across the battlefield. The Amara warriors, led by Princess Bara, charged into the fray.
"What's a battle without us Amara women?" Bara shouted, her voice filled with fierce determination screaming, "Sisters, we Fuck together… Die together."
The Amara warriors joined forces with the Gullee soldiers. They were also taught the same spell by Yun-Yun. Using their combined strength, they reinforced the magical chains that bound Hera.
The added power was enough to fully restrain the goddess' apparition, her divine form struggling against the bonds.
"Thanks, Bara!" Leo called out, relief evident in his voice.
"Return the favor with a good orgy for three days and nights, we are short of good cocks recently," Bara replied with a mischievous grin.
"Well, that's a deal," Leo said, chuckling despite the chaos. He added under his breath while avoiding Petunia's gaze, "I do need a Lust counter recharge after this."
"This fight is not over yet", Aseran screamed.
Aseran, realizing the tide of battle was turning against him, made a desperate move.
Golden energy enveloped his body as he and his sword merged into a single, blinding streak of light. He shot toward Leo, the attack aimed directly at his chest.
"Unity of Man and Sword."
"Die, Lilleo Gullee", Lord Aseran screamed.
The attack was unavoidable.
"Argh!" Leo screamed as the strike landed, narrowly missing his heart thanks to his quick reflexes but the sword went deep into him.
He staggered but remained standing, his hand gripping Aseran's shoulder.
