After two or three hours, the members of the club finally left the Tsukiyama mansion.
Their trip had been quite fruitful — they had learned a lot about the lives of upper-class ghouls.
"It's all thanks to Byakuya. If not for him, we'd never have had the chance to visit a place like this."
"These upper-class ghouls... they're practically indistinguishable from humans now. They've blended into human society perfectly."
"..."
On their way back to Kamii University, the club members chatted among themselves, clearly impressed by what they'd seen.
20th Ward, Anteiku Café.
The date for Byakuya and Eto's wedding was fast approaching.
"Eto, look at this one! I think this wedding dress would suit you perfectly!"
Irimi showed Eto a picture on her phone — a wedding dress she believed would be ideal for her.
"I think this one looks even better. We should at least try it on."
Hikari leaned in to offer his opinion.
At that moment, Irimi and Hikari were helping the soon-to-be newlyweds — Byakuya and Eto — pick out their wedding attire.
But their differing tastes quickly led to disagreements, especially over the dress.
"They're all nice" Byakuya said with a smile. "But we should just go to the bridal shop and try them on. That's the best way to know which one works."
"Then you all should go. I'll stay here and watch the shop" said Yoshimura.
The café suddenly grew quiet. Everyone looked at Yoshimura simultaneously.
"That's backwards. We should be the ones staying behind. The manager should go with Byakuya and Eto" said Hikari.
"Exactly. The manager should definitely be there" added Arata.
"Just remember to take a photo and show us later" Irimi chimed in.
"I can already imagine how good I'll look in a tuxedo" Koma said, grinning smugly. "Though, with Byakuya's looks, I'll probably be outshined."
"Give it up," Irimi said flatly, deadpanning at him. "You'd look terrible no matter what you wear."
"I'd actually like to see what Yomo looks like in a tux. I bet he'd look pretty handsome" Koma teased.
"Leave me out of this" Yomo replied immediately.
"I agree, the manager should go," said Roma, crouching as she cleaned up a broken cup.
Even though her true identity had long been exposed, she still enjoyed playing her old role at Anteiku — the clumsy, scatterbrained waitress.
She still occasionally broke plates or cups, acting with such convincing realism that no one could tell if she was pretending or genuinely careless.
"There you go again. When will you finally learn to be careful?" Yomo scolded her.
"Sorry, sorry, I'll be careful next time" Roma said sheepishly, scratching her head — a line she'd repeated countless times.
In truth, Roma kept up her "clumsy waitress" act simply because she and Uta enjoyed teasing Yomo.
Even other members of their Clown organization joined in whenever they could — it had practically become a team hobby.
Eventually, under the collective insistence of the staff, Yoshimura agreed to go along.
Joining them were Minami and Arima.
Minami's real reason for tagging along was simple — she also wanted to see how she'd look in a wedding dress but didn't dare say it aloud.
The children — Mayu, Kurona, Nashiro, and Suzuya — all begged to come as well.
As for Kaneki, Touka, and Ayato, they had already gone out together earlier in the day.
Just as Byakuya and the others were about to leave, the café door opened.
A tall, well-dressed man in a suit stepped inside, his neatly combed hair and refined glasses giving him an air of nobility.
It was none other than Mirumo Tsukiyama — the president of the Tsukiyama Group and head of the Tsukiyama family.
"My apologies for not welcoming you two earlier" he said with a charming smile. "I heard you're getting married soon. Please, allow me to provide the finest wedding attire and venue my group can offer."
Given that the Tsukiyama Group owned numerous high-end businesses — including hotels and bridal boutiques — Mirumo's confidence was well-founded.
"Thank you, President Tsukiyama" said Byakuya, smiling.
After all, in the original story, it was also the Tsukiyama family who provided Kaneki and Touka's wedding venue.
With Mirumo's help, they soon arrived at an incredibly luxurious bridal shop — spacious, elegant, and lavishly decorated.
Even the shop's staff, recognizing Mirumo, dared not relax for a second.
"Let's start with the wedding dresses" Byakuya said.
Wedding attire was a matter of personal taste, so there wasn't much debate — until Eto found the one.
It was a satin gown — simple in design, yet precisely that simplicity highlighted her elegance. The smooth, flawless fabric draped perfectly, giving her an aura of refined beauty.
When Eto stepped out in it, her petite frame and graceful curves made her look every bit like a fairytale princess.
"You look stunning" Byakuya said immediately.
"I love it too. Let's go with this one," Eto replied cheerfully.
"Very well," said Mirumo, adjusting his glasses. "I'll have it custom-made immediately."
Then it was Byakuya's turn.
His fitting took longer — mostly because Eto insisted on choosing for him.
Eventually, she picked a sleek black suit, perfectly tailored and comfortable — black being Byakuya's favorite color.
Standing side by side, they looked like a prince and princess stepped out of a storybook.
A staff member quickly captured the moment in photos.
Yoshimura stood quietly to the side, watching with a soft, content smile.
Just witnessing this scene with his own eyes filled him with peace.
"Dad, come join us for a photo!" Eto suddenly called, pulling him over.
"..."
Yoshimura froze for a second, then smiled warmly and stepped in beside them.
"Click—"
The camera flashed several times, capturing the perfect family moment.
Meanwhile, the kids — Kurona, Nashiro, Suzuya, and Mayu— were having a blast.
The staff didn't dare stop them, letting them play as they pleased.
Mayu had already put on a child-sized wedding dress, twirling happily in front of the mirror.
She loved anything pretty — especially things that made her look pretty — so of course she adored the dress.
"Suzuya! What are you waiting for? Go put on your suit already!" she shouted.
Kurona and Nashiro, too, had each chosen their favorite dresses and were posing for pictures together — just the two of them.
Their bond had always been more than sisterly.
"They look beautiful" Minami said, smiling as she watched the twins.
"..."
"You should try one too," Arima said calmly beside her. "I think you'd really like it."
"Ah... well... I..." Minami fumbled for a moment, flustered, then nodded with a little smile. "Okay!"
She had already picked out a dress she loved, so she tried it on without hesitation.
Staring at her reflection, she was amazed — she'd never imagined she'd look like this.
Arima, now dressed in a black suit, joined her for a photo.
The two of them — the calm, stoic investigator and the elegant ghoul — looked strangely harmonious together.
After selecting their outfits, the next step was choosing the venue — though Mirumo had already taken care of that.
He reserved the entire Tsukiyama Grand Hotel, one of Tokyo's most luxurious buildings, solely for their ceremony.
Guests included the entire Anteiku, several acquaintances from TSC — like Kanou, Marude, and the Mado family — and even members of the Washuu Clan such as Furuta, Rize, and Tsuneyoshi.
Byakuya and Eto declined all gifts; they didn't want formality — just for everyone to come and have fun.
When the wedding day arrived, Hikari helped Eto apply a light touch of makeup.
"All done. Right now, you're the most beautiful bride in the world" she said proudly.
"Thank you, Hikari" Eto replied with a smile, admiring her reflection in the mirror.
Byakuya was also being prepared — his look simple, dignified, and elegant.
When the ceremony began, the banquet hall was filled with laughter, food, and drink.
"Uta! Tonight we're drinking until dawn!" Yomo declared, snatching Uta's glass and downing it.
He was clearly a lightweight — already drunk after just a few glasses.
Uta watched him with amusement, fascinated to see this rare sight.
Nearby, Koma and Irimi were locked in a fierce drinking contest.
"You're always bragging about your drinking, huh? Let's see who drops first!" Irimi challenged.
"Bring it on! I'm not losing to you!" Koma shouted back.
They downed glass after glass, their competitiveness only fueled by their intoxication.
"Would you like some wine? Or coffee?" Arima asked Minami quietly.
"I'll stick with coffee. I'm terrible with alcohol" she said.
"Understood."
Arima poured two cups, one for each of them.
As Minami watched the wine glisten nearby, she couldn't help but wonder — what would Arima drunk look like?
He was always so calm and composed... would he turn into a totally different person?
"Um... Arima, do you ever drink?" she asked curiously.
"I don't. Alcohol clouds my judgment, so I avoid it" he replied.
"Oh... I see."
Minami looked a bit disappointed, but her curiosity only deepened. Someday, she thought, she'd find out.
For now, though, the night belonged to Byakuya and Eto.
They laughed, ate, and drank with their friends — no ceremonies, no speeches, just joy.
As the night went on, many guests passed out from drinking, while the sober ones helped carry them to rest.
Byakuya and Eto eventually returned home.
Eto had already changed out of her gown and stood at the bathroom door, holding a towel.
She glanced back at Byakuya, a mischievous smile curling her lips.
"Well," she said softly, her eyes gleaming, "time to take care of the real business~"
