Hengsheng's gaze swept across the system display. Nothing had changed much, except that his cultivation realm had risen along with the new cultivation realm's trait, and two additional slots had appeared for installing new systems.

Ah.

He also deleted the entire [Cultivation Summary] section, finding it useless.

His attempt to measure his own and others' strength using the statistics scanned and provided by the system had completely failed; the numbers were indeed correct without a doubt, but they were still unreliable in a real battle, a life-and-death situation.

This was because there were too many factors that could sabotage the measurements—such as secret techniques, special powers, or even the bursting of sheer willpower.

In the end, when it came to gauging the true strength of his own or someone else's, he trusted his intuition far more than the mere number.

Hengsheng closed the system display and glanced around. His courtyard was in ruins again. He sighed—breakthroughs never came without destruction. Fortunately, this was the Endless Wealth Peak; with a wave of his hand, he could restore the damage.

He waved his hand, commanding the Origin Energy of the peak to restore everything to its previous condition.

Afterward, he glanced down at himself and swiftly exchanged his torn robe for a new one.

Everything done, Hengsheng smirked. Now he felt refreshed, new strength flowing through his veins.

Upon stepping into the Spirit Integration Realm, he had gained the Spirit-Infused Body—granting him the qualities of a Semi-Energy Lifeform. This meant his body was now less bound by ordinary physical laws, though higher-tier laws, such as thermodynamics or the quantum fields, could still affect him.

His mind was also clear; with the Spirit Gate opened, his perception had greatly increased, allowing them to perceive the essence of everything. The secrets of reality were no longer hidden from him. He could clearly sense the laws that governed reality—and even perceive the Grand Dao of Heaven and Earth.

Even though he could now sense them without needing help from things like natural treasure or Dao Field, comprehending them was an entirely different matter—one that would require long years of effort from this point onward.

"Yawn…"

Hearing the sound, he turned toward the side of the training ground and saw Yunsu stretching her body after getting up from her nap.

An arrogant grin spread across Hengsheng's face as he stepped forward toward Yunsu. The cat, sensing her human's presence, turned her head upward. Her gaze met his grinning, arrogant face.

"Yunsu, since we're now in the same cultivation realm, how about a spar? What do you think?" Hengsheng's grin made it clear he didn't have pure intentions.

Yunsu's jaw dropped in disbelief. Her human had grown arrogant… daring to challenge her!

Her cute, round pupils instantly narrowed into the eyes of a predator.

"Meow…" Yunsu accepted her human's challenge.

'Yes!' Hengsheng thought excitedly. With his newfound power, he finally had a chance against this cat. The era of cat domination was coming to an end!

He quickly pulled them both into the simulation world. Moments later, the man and the cat appeared in a familiar modern city—a simulation map they both knew well.

10...

The countdown began.

"Meow meow meow (you'll regret this)," Yunsu meowed, her eyes narrowing as she tried to intimidate her opponent.

"I don't think so. Now I'm a hundred times stronger. Even you won't stand a chance," Hengsheng smirked confidently.

"Meow (we'll see)," Yunsu replied. She thinks she needed to remind her human exactly who was boss.

0!

—FIGTH!!!—

The next moment, when the cooldown ended, then—

BOOOOOM!!!!!!!!

A massive explosion erupted in the heart of the city, rivaling the force of a nuclear bomb. Flames and a devastating shockwave radiated in all directions, reducing the entire city to ruins.

BOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another explosion tore through the sky—this one even more devastating than the first.

Despite the scale of the destruction, this was only the beginning.

BOOOOM! BOOOOM! BOOOOOM! …

One after another, explosions erupted across the planet's surface, each shockwave shaking the sky and earth. All of it stemmed from the clash between two small figures.

Hengsheng clenched his fist, a crimson light from the System Circuit – True Body surging through every blood vein and Qi meridian. Power gathered into his fist like a roaring tide—

Then he smashed!

The punch ripped through the air, piercing the atmosphere in a straight line before smashing into its target.

BOOM!

Yunsu's eyes widened, a thin strand of saliva slipping past her fangs as she hurled back from the fist's strike. Pain flared in her stomach where the blow landed—it hurt far more than she expected.

Her fur bristled with anger.

Enduring the pain, she retaliated with a vicious slash of her claws.

SHING!

The attack carved a glowing trail through the sky.

Thwack!

A deep cut appeared on Hengsheng's defending arm. The wound looked nasty, but within seconds, the Huperhuman regenerative trait kicked in, sealing it shut.

Hengsheng smirked at the cat. From the dozen exchange blows, it was clear—he was winning. Not by much, but enough to gain the upper hand.

He soared into the sky, the wind rushing past him yet offering no resistance to his momentum. His speed climbed to impossible levels until, in mere moments, he broke into the stratosphere. From there, he gazed down upon the Earth.

His eyes locked onto the fleeing cat. Pointing a single finger, he unleashed a barrage—Heavenly Pierce Index!

Countless beams of light rained down from above like a meteor shower.

DOOM!! DOOM!! DOOM!!

Each strike carved a fresh crater into the earth.

She threw spheres of omni elemental magic in a desperate bid to intercept the falling lights. But the piercing beams shredded through her magic as if it were paper, reaching her before she could destroy them all.

Yunsu gritted her teeth. With no way to counter the onslaught of destructive light directly, she retreated, her mind racing for a way to deal with her human's relentless technique.

"HAHAHA!" Hengsheng laughed at the fleeing cat.

Yunsu darted away, her face burning with embarrassment. She was losing—actually losing—to her human!

Frustration surged to her head, threatening to explode.

BOOM!

The battle's outcome seemed certain—the human side was moments away from victory.

That was… until the human made a fatal mistake.

"HAHAHA! NOW who's the boss?!" Hengsheng shouted.

The cat's ears twitched, snapping upright. Her tail froze mid-sway. She stopped running. Slowly, her beastly eyes narrowed, a glint of something ancient flickering within them.

A deep, resonating hum filled the air as a strange, oppressive aura surged out from her small body. The ground beneath her cracked, rippling outward like a shattered mirror.

Her body began to distort and deform, enlarging unnaturally, her shadow growing larger and darker until it swallowed the light around her. A primal pressure gripped the air, suffocating everything within miles.

"Meow? (Who's the boss?)" Yunsu purred, now standing over him. Her paw pressed firmly on Hengsheng's head as his torn body lay sprawled on the ground.

"You… are…" he managed to say before his body disintegrated into dust.

— Fight Over —

Returning to reality.

"MEOW! (You wretched fool!)" Yunsu spat, her tail lashing in fury. She hurled a string of feline insults at her human for forcing her into such an ugly form. Without another glance, she turned and stormed off, both angry and deeply embarrassed.

Hengsheng scratched the back of his head, shame tugging at him. The win was in front of him, yet he still lost it.

He knew he had already surpassed the cat's raw strength—he had only lost because Yunsu played her trump card.

It was a powerful ability, with no drawbacks.

He would still win if he used his trump card, but unfortunately, he couldn't.

His "Absolute Mode" and "Sun God Incarnation" were both far from convenient.

One had to be saved for situations of true life and death—or when facing an opportunity beyond measure—while the other required lengthy preparation.

Despite losing, he wasn't downhearted for long. This battle had helped him better understand his new cultivation realm, his current strength.
