It wasn't getting funny to me anymore.
Anders wasn't a strong kid. Assuming he was strong, his scent ought to linger, even if a little bit, around the environment.
In that way, I would have been able to track him.

If nothing had happened to Anders, you would see him walking out of the hotel room on his own through the CCTV footage. But if he is not spotted on the CCTV footage camera, that would mean only one thing'.
