Kael woke up feeling heavy, as if he had faced a legendary monster during the night—or perhaps an emotional earthquake.
The soft morning light filtered through the linen curtains embroidered with arcane patterns, casting warm patterns on the wooden floor and bed. He blinked slowly, his eyes still tired, and tried to move... but a sharp, dull pain radiated from his groin, causing him to let out a muffled sigh of frustration.
"Tsk... of course it would hurt," he muttered, his voice hoarse and dry from accumulated fatigue. "She sucked every last drop..."
Next to him, Sazhara slept peacefully — or rather, clinging to him like a living curse. One of her arms wrapped tightly around his waist, and one of her legs was over his, as if to ensure he wouldn't run away.
She muttered something naughty, with a silly smile on her face and her tail wriggling slightly under the sheets.
Kael raised one hand and rubbed his face, letting out another sigh.
