As he was lost in his thoughts, trying to put everything together, his mind went to the names, the different ones, wondering whether or not it was really just a coincidence. He knew deep down, maybe it was, hardly anything in this life was at that point, mist things were just complicated, connected, and somehow all related to him and the creed, as though it was the perfect setup.
He thought about what she said and what he knew so far, wondering how he should move forward from that, since it was not something he was expecting, then his mind rifted back to the shift in the auction, the one taken by the royal family, caught his attention.
As though right on cue, he heard footsteps approached.
He expected Kiros. Instead, it was her.
