Walking through the tunnel, Ben saw it widen into a large opening.
A new scene appeared in front of him, a mushroom forest.
Towering fungi with purplish caps rose like trees, casting deep shadows over the ground.
Like the red-spotted biome from before, the mushrooms here were massive, their thick stalks buried deep in the earth.
Beneath them, strange flowers that looked like glowing light bulbs flickered faintly.
Ben studied his surroundings and took in the alien landscape.
A thought crossed his mind. "Are these mushrooms poisonous?" He smirked and shook his head. "Krell should have strong resistance anyway." His gaze swept across the forest floor.
He did not see any animals or other creatures.
He did not want to take chances.
He pulled up the creature creation screen and summoned two Krell scouts.
"Go explore," he said.
The kneeling Krell nodded, then moved out.
One headed northwest and the other northeast, both vanishing between the towering mushrooms.
