Ben stood between the two exits and thought for a moment.
Then he chose the northeast tunnel.
The floor sloped downward as he walked, taking him deeper underground.
He still did not know exactly where he was, but he kept the same habit he had when he first came to this world.
He always preferred to go deeper.
In his experience, the deeper he went, the better the materials he could find.
After some distance, he frowned.
The tunnel ended in a dead end.
He looked back in the direction of his base and muttered, "A few kilometers...
That hellworm's size is no joke."
He glanced around the tunnel.
Pieces of the hellworm's body still lay scattered everywhere.
So far, he had harvested everything along this route, leaving only one side untouched.
A thought hit him.
If he left this much worm meat and parts here, it would attract other beasts.
That would stack more danger on top of what he already had.
"Another problem," Ben cursed, then turned and walked toward the west tunnel.
