Shiro, Kabuto and Yoroi all entered the room that they were assigned to and opened the two scrolls together.
Hayama appeared while holding a black sword.
Shiro was familiar with the sword and immediately recognised it.
It was the fire sword that he saw in the last mission and the strongest weapon among the four weapons.
"Sensei. Is that the reason why you weren't able to return to the village until now?" Shiro asked.
Hayama nodded.
"So opening the scroll will summon a jonin. I should have seen that coming." Kabuto makes a small joke.
Hayama looked at Kabuto and Yoroi and slightly raised one of his eyebrows.
He does not seem to trust him.
Just as I expected, the foureye and the Yoroi guy are acting so suspiciously that even my teacher is a bit taken aback by them. Shiro thought in his mind.
"I have something to say to my pupil before the third exam starts. Can you please..." Hayama said as he signalled Kabuto and Yoroi to leave the room.
"Oh. Where are my manners, I will be on my way. Carry on. Yoroi, let's go." Kabuto said as he took Yoroi and left the room leaving only Shiro and Hayama.
"Finally they are gone," Hayama said.
"Aren't you going to ask me to keep my distance from them?" Shiro asked his master.
"Do I look like a fool? If I can't figure out that you are already suspicious of those two my title as a Jonin would be just for show." Hayama said.
"And remember....." He tried to continue his speech but he was interrupted by Shiro.
"I know they have already caught on to the fact that I have suspicions about them," Shiro replied.
"You know, when I am talking with you sometimes I even forget that you are not even a teenager yet." Hayama praised Shiro's maturity.
It's not that Shiro's intelligence is high, it's just that he seems to be a bit sharper than the people around his age.
"So what do you want to talk to me about. There must be a reason why you drive away those two?" Shiro asked.
"Here. I want you to have this." Hayama said as he handed the Black Sword to Shiro.
"!" Shiro was confused.
He already received a large amount of money and the dragon swords as a reward from the mission so he was not expecting Hayama to just hand the strongest weapon that he had ever laid eyes on.
"I have no use for this thing anyway," Hayama said.
Of course, it was not the only reason. Hayama also felt a little guilty for not being able to train Shiro for the Chunin exam.
He heard that Asuma helped his student when he was free but he knew that it was not enough since Asuma was unable to give most of his attention to Shiro as he had his own responsibilities.
And with his other two students taking a step back Shiro is the only one that he can look after since it will be a while before he gets assigned to a new Genin squad.
Shiro took the black sword and started to look at it.
Hayama smiled when he noticed that Shiro was pleased with his gift.
No matter how mature a kid tries to be act sometimes their childish nature will appear when they are overwhelmed by emotions, either joy, anger or sorrow.
In this instance it's joy.

A few minutes later all the Genin who passed the second test were gathered in a hall.
Most of the Genins who passed the exam tried to look around to see if people they knew had also passed the exam, whether it is friend or foe.
"First of all, congratulations on passing the exam." Anko who was the overseer of the second test said.
"Now the Lord Hokage will explain the third test. Please, lord Hokage." Anko said as she made way for the third Hokage.
"Before I explain the third test I want to explain one thing. The true reason for the exam." Hokage said.
"Why do all the allied countries take this test together? This exam is to promote friendship between countries and raise the level of Shinobis. But the true reason for the exam is to replace the war among the allied countries." The Hokage said.
The hall where the Genin are gathered becomes tense when he utters those words.
"If you go back in time the current allies are enemies who fought each other over lands and riches. In order to prevent wasteful fighting the allied countries chose to settle their grievances by choosing a stage where they could fight without too much killing. That is the origin of the Chunin exam." The Hokage explained.
"Why the hell do we have to do that crap? Isn't this just for deciding who will be a Chunin?" Naruto yelled out.
"This exam decides which country has the Shinobi who have what it takes to be a Chunin. On the other hand, this exam has another side. Where Shinobi risk their own life to protect their land's prestige." The third Hokage continued.
"This exam will be watched by leaders and influential people from many countries who will hire shinobi from the hidden villages. If the shinobi can demonstrate his strength the village he will belong to will receive more clients. And on the opposite end if seen as weak the village will lose clients." the Hokage said.
"And that will signal the potential enemies that our village has this much power. The strength of the Shinobi is the strength of the village and the strength of the village is the strength of the country that it belongs to. And a Shinoni's true strength is born only in a life-risking battle"
