Third person POV
And then, Basilio's phone rang, and Basilio picked it up, seeing a phone number he never had before. Curious, Basilio answered it. "Hello?"
"Hello, is this Valencia Basilio, right?" the caller, Benjamín, replied back.
"Oh, Benjamín-kun? Is that you?"
"Yes, it's me, and I had something to spill out about the Wolken Party."
"Oh, okay, what is it?"
Benjamín then revealed how the Wolken Party had taken advantage of Chivo's status as a poor, struggling commoner by bribing him to stay quiet of him getting fired by them. According to his eyewitness account, Chivo accepted 20 Presas in coins in bribe money, and the reason why is that the party had high ranks and a high social class and so was a "privilege" to do whatever they want with ex-party members like Chivo. Basilio was shocked that the Wolken Party went too far beforehand, and Benjamín nodded and added, "Yes, and luckily, I was there and had taken a video of it using my phone."
"Wow, nice one, man," responded Basilio with a positive comment on Benjamín's bravery.
"Yeah, I can take pictures and videos like you would with your phone. And also, sorry for not breaking this secret to you a long time ago. I was scared of a retaliation by the Wolken Party if I had revealed it to anyone. I luckily revealed that to my father."
"Oh…no wonder your father had said that he had got it from you…"
"Yes, you're welcome. I am now relieved to have something off from my chest."
"That's good."
"Also, have you ever heard any updates from them?"
"Oh…that would be an hour ago."
Benjamín was shocked. "What? How come?"
"Well…"
And so, Basilio revealed to them what the Wolken Party was trying to do with Chivo and his family. A few minutes later, Benjamín was shocked again and felt cheated out by Lenz's hypocrisy, for he had admired his skills and even wanted to emulate him with his family ability, Fire Lions.
"No way…" Benjamín commented in mild devastation.
"Yeah, but we caught them," Basilio responded back, "and after a brief talk with them, I had them tortured because they are rude to us."
"Woah, calm down with violence, man! That's too far."
"Don't worry, that torture had a self-healing potion splashed in their midst so none of them would die from the torture."
"Oh, that's fair and safe."
"Yes, I'll have the torture stopped shortly after, okay?"
"Yes, thanks, man. I'm happy to help and cooperate…"
"No problem."
Both sides then ended their conversation.
After that, Chivo asked, "Who's on the phone?" Basilio then put down his phone on his desk and looked at him. "That was Benjamín-san. Why? How did you know that it was a phone?"
"Well…the thing is…I had a phone, too."
Basilio was astonished with some shock, and Chivo pulled out his phone, which was a touchable smartphone. "Woah, that one was as nice as mine," Basilio commented with shock and awe.
"Yeah, this was my big sis's when she is not using it," replied Chivo while holding his phone.
"Oh, so you don't have one of your own?"
"Yes, and big sis acquired this from an Otherworlder who had access to gadgets like that."
"Wow…"
Basilio now wonders who that Otherworlder was, the one who gave that phone to Agnieszka. Chivo then said with a smile, "Yup! And that's how I know about Otherworlders!" Basilio then looked at him back. "Woah, so you pretended to not know about Otherworlders on my first day in this world?"
"Yup!"
"Wow…so clever…"
Chivo's POV
[Flashback to 6 years ago in Fresa de Ard…]
One afternoon after school, at home, I was watching a video on my older sister's phone. Luckily, though, she wasn't using it now, so I got to use it to watch videos about Otherworlders and their worlds. I was quite fascinated by them and learned more from it rather than at school. Yeah…
[Flashback ended…]
Basilio now knew how Chivo knew about Otherworlders and their previous worlds, the majority of which is Earth.
