Chapter 4
"No.. no!!, Please don't leave me, I love you so much", I yelled trying to grab her arms, but she walked away.
she kept telling me we weren't meant to be together and walked to the opposite direction, she said I should let her be, but I just couldn't.
I walked towards her but she walked backwards, each step I took she took the same step backwards, just then she shook her head at me, then disappeared.
"No!!", I yelled and sprang up from the bed, that's when I realized that it was another nightmare, the fourth time this week.
I looked at my bestie who moved slightly on his bed when I yelled.
I slightly massage my forehead, cause I could feel a headache coming on.
that's when I realized I was crying.
I felt my cheeks wet with tears, I hadn't realized I was crying, I wiped it off my face and took my phone which was on the night stand, to check the time, it was just some minutes passed mid night I just tossed the phone on the bed In annoyance I knew I wasn't going to get any sleep.
Since when Kyla dumped me I haven't been able to sleep without having a nightmare and I would end up not sleeping throughout the night, I just find it so hard to believe she could actually do this to me.
I carefully made my way out of th room to the balcony, in other not to wake up my bestie, who was sleeping on his bed a few feet's away from mine.
The view from here is incredible, and you can star gaze at night from here, that's why I made it a must to have this room, it is at the top floor of the hostel for the boys.
it is a boarding school so we barely went home except on Holidays.
I was able to get this room because am freaking wealthy, most of the rich kids often get the best rooms, though this is a school for the rich, but there are different class of wealth.
the wealthiest you are the more the luxury.
And unlike the other students who slept 3 or 4 persons In a room, it is just me and my bestie that shared a room.
I loved staring at the stars at night while holding Kyla in my arms as we chatted about ourselves, though it isn't allowed for the females to come to the boys dorms and vice versa but I made it happen.
Sometimes I snuck in her room when she was alone or she snuck up here most times so we can spend some quality time together.
it has been a week already and it passed in a blur, every morning I got forced by my bestie to attend classes, I didn't see the need to go cause i couldn't focus at all and all my thoughts are all about her.
we weren't in the same class, but I still saw her, and she always make sure to mock me.
And I would replay everything she said to me, that had made my heart shatter, sometimes I wonder how she feels now that she has gotten what she wanted, she seemed not to be affected though, she never liked me.
she was always with her friends playing, going to parties, and other stuffs not caring about anything else, I was just a game to her, I wiped the tears that had tickled down my face.
I hadn't been able to focus on football training lately, and the coach had given me alot of warnings or else he would replace me, cause there is a big game coming up, and we can't afford to lose.
My popularity was going down the chart and so much more, I couldn't rap my fingers around why this was happening to me but I just stood there and let my time pass.

"I have done what you asked for cousin, he is completely heartbroken, it is your turn to keep to the end of the bargain", I said to my cousin Zara over the phone in my room, seriously.
"Yes, my dear Kyla, I have seen your works, my spy has already confirmed it, and I am so happy", she said cheerfully with a hint of anger in her tone.
My cousin Zara, a millionaires daughter had always been proud, she had never been turned down before which made her feel humiliated when she confessed her feelings openly to Richard at a party last year and he rejected her, in front of all the guests, ever since then she had always wanted revenge and thought of ways to deal with him but couldn't until she came to me and made a deal with me which was quite tempting, and even If I rejected it she would hate me and she could destroy my family, so I had no choice but to do it.
"Don't worry, I have already sent the money and the car is on its way", she said nonchalantly.
"And my mom", I asked worried.
"Don't worry she would be well taken care of", she said.
"Thanks cousin", I said happily smiling at the thought of it, thank goodness now my mum will get better quicker.
"You're welcome dear", she said sweetly then continued.
"Make sure you have no contact with him, and always make fun of him and spread fake rumors and make sure he cries, let him know how it feel to be rejected, hahahah", she laughed heartlessly like a lunatic and hung up.
"Sigh", I knew he was going to be in trouble when he rejected her about a year ago and she had been watching his movement, looking for his weak spot, eventually she discovered that he liked me alot so she decided to use me, and I really didn't have a choice, because my mum's life is on the line.
well at least I got a little something in return.

I walked to my locker to grab a few books I would be needing later, for some classes.
After classes, I went to the library for some self study.
I got engrossed in reading and forgot about my surroundings.
I Yelped as I felt someone pour water on me.
