In front of Ryn now were two pairs of pistols: one pair of pink and black Spirit Guns: Yae, and one pair of black and white Holy Lances: Kallen. Both were commemorative items Otto had created for Yae Sakura and Kallen a few years ago.
Although he didn't know why Otto would still create pistols for Yae Sakura, since he had already spent a great deal of money to make them, it wouldn't be appropriate to just throw them away.
So, Otto had someone send them over for Ryn to pass on to Kallen and Yae Sakura.
Otto himself didn't have the guts to deliver them in person. Firstly, his body didn't acknowledge this Kallen as the Kallen he wanted, and secondly, he felt he had wronged Kallen.
From the moment Kallen died, a certain clown had buried all meaning of his own existence, turning his body into a shell driven solely by obsession.
Of course, the most important reason was that Otto was worried that if he really came in person, Yae Sakura might charge at him with her katana from eight hundred meters away before he could even state his intentions.
Ryn could only shrug helplessly at this. The relationship between Yae Sakura and Otto had been easing up, until Otto discovered certain properties of Jizo Mitama…

So, Otto wanted to use this feature of Jizo Mitama to modify his Soulium body, completely transforming the Soulium and his physical body to achieve zero-latency consciousness transfer.
But Yae Sakura was dead set against it. Jizo Mitama had become Yae Sakura's private plaything, and no one was allowed to touch it.
Yae Sakura had now inherited Higokumaru's authority and was considered a quasi-Herrscher of Corruption, so she said she could personally help Otto with the experiment.
But Otto couldn't possibly tell even Amber about the contents of the experiment, so how could he let Yae Sakura know? He refused Yae Sakura's request, insisting that he only needed Jizo Mitama.
Yae Sakura was unwilling to hand over Jizo Mitama, and so the two had another falling out.
Otto wasn't one to give up easily on what he wanted to do. So, he tricked Yae Sakura, sneaking in and stealing Jizo Mitama while she and Kallen were holding a concert with Oath of Judah.
Then, Yae Sakura, carrying her Spirit Blade, stormed Schicksal HQ.
Even an unarmed Yae Sakura could wipe the floor with Schicksal's S-rank Valkyrie Theresa and the Pseudo-Herrscher Yuno, let alone now, when she was wielding the "Spirit Blade: Frozen Naraka" and wearing the "Goushinnso Memento."
The Spirit Blade was a Soulium katana, wrapped in a snowy wind and as thin as ice. According to records, it was the weapon of a certain warrior from the Previous Era's Fire Moth, but all records have been blurred by history and are impossible to verify.
"Goushinnso Memento" was a piece of game equipment that only existed in the Kallen Fantasy game created by Otto. But based on the research data from the Spirit Blade, St. 1503 Laboratory, Otto, and Yiselian from Mobius's lab worked together to recreate it.
The result was that they found no one could use this blade and armor. Since Goushinnso Memento was originally designed for Yae Sakura in Kallen Fantasy, they had Yae Sakura try it out, just to see.
Then everyone discovered that these two pieces of equipment seemed to have been tailor-made for Yae Sakura from birth… Not to mention the lack of rejection, the amplification they provided for Yae Sakura far exceeded the amplification rate of a normal S-rank Valkyrie battlesuit.
Through the Spirit Blade's chilling aura, Yae Sakura was able to execute some sword techniques that she previously couldn't.
And now, this suit of armor that Otto was so proud of was being worn by its owner, who was also holding the Spirit Blade to Otto's neck.
"Yae Sakura, what's the need for all this? I promise I'm just borrowing Jizo Mitama for a bit. Once I'm done, I'll return it to you completely unharmed. You've already cut down three of my Soulium combat bodies. If you keep this up, I'm really going to start feeling the loss…"
Yae Sakura narrowed her eyes and said with a sweet smile, "Is that so? But it's already been three Soulium bodies, and you still refuse to return Jizo Mitama to me!"
Although Yae Sakura was smiling, combined with the human-shaped ice sculptures frozen behind her, Otto only felt a sense of dread.
"Haha… how could that be? You were just too quick. I was planning to return it to you the moment I saw you."

Otto estimated the time, then led Yae Sakura into his private laboratory.

Upon entering the lab, Yae Sakura immediately retracted the katana from Otto's neck and ran towards the Jizo Mitama at the center of the experiment.

Yae Sakura retrieved Jizo Mitama and held it in her arms protectively, staring at Otto with a resentful look. It was as if Otto's use of Jizo Mitama was akin to some scumbag defiling her precious daughter.
"Hey, hey, it's a weapon. Isn't it normal for it to be used? There's no need to look at me like that, right?" Otto complained, half-crying, half-laughing.
"I said, if you need help, you can just ask me… I can do far more than a mere weapon. But you stubbornly chose Jizo Mitama, even going so far as to steal it." Yae Sakura glared at Otto, her favorability towards this hypocrite dropping another notch.
Otto gave a helpless, cold laugh. "A person who can think and has their own will, who is difficult to control, and a weapon that doesn't think but is easy to use. The choice is obvious, isn't it?"
"Besides… put your sword away first."
Yae Sakura held Jizo Mitama in her left hand and the Spirit Blade in her right, her two bunny ears standing straight up. Otto was deeply afraid that Yae Sakura's hand might slip and she would slice through the thing he was about to show her.
After confirming that Yae Sakura had put away her sword, Otto walked to a corner of the lab and pressed a button, revealing what was hidden inside.
"Besides, there are some things that I haven't even uploaded or recorded in the data of my Soulium bodies."
"Then what's the meaning of showing it to me now?"
Yae Sakura looked confusedly at the body behind Otto, a body that had a soul but no consciousness, maintaining a youthful appearance…
