Chapter 390 - Chapter 390 The World is Destroyed Again

The light of Finality once again bloomed upon this endlessly cycling land.

Hare's expression was grave as she looked at the death spot in the sky, which was continuously breaking the sound barrier again and again under the acceleration of gravity and Honkai, crashing down.

"As expected, it's better to pour concrete at a construction site than to count on Jackal and Gray Serpent..."

Hare planted her shuttle-lance into the ground, her eyes focused, calming her mind to communicate with the energy within her body.

Then, with Hare as the center, a beam of light with a radius of several hundred meters shot into the sky. It exploded thousands of meters above the ground, transforming into a transparent, pale purple film that enveloped the Earth.

"Futile resistance only serves to plant the seeds of shattered hope, a deeper despair, on the path to death."

Sirin looked on with cold indifference at the film Hare had created to protect the Earth, and then reached her hand towards the sky again.

A death spot even larger than the falling one, completely obscuring the entire Eastern Hemisphere, was instantly born, drawing energy from the Imaginary Space and beginning to charge rapidly.

Sirin only wanted to destroy humanity, but if humanity resisted desperately, then she would make them utterly despair.

Opening a larger spatial portal, pulling other planets over to collide with Earth. Or opening a portal next to the sun, letting Earth have a close encounter with it...

Humanity, civilization, the planet... when the Herrscher of the Void truly disregards everything, it's all as simple as crushing an ant.

Boom—

The first death spot had already collided with the film woven by Hare, creating a tremendous roar.

The deafening sound of the collision was heard clearly by everyone in the world. Windows across the globe shattered from the sonic boom, and over a billion people's eardrums burst instantly. The death toll from the sound blast alone was no less than three hundred million.

But this was just the sound from the first impact...

The Honkai energy of the entire globe, plus the incalculable Honkai energy from the Imaginary Space, condensed into a weight that, when accelerated to super-high speeds, was no weaker than a giant planet crashing into Earth at high speed.

Under the immense pressure, Hare was already kneeling on the ground in agony, her entire body flickering in and out of existence, almost transparent.

If Hare were human, her nose, eyes, and ears would probably be gushing hot blood, her entire body's endocrine system in chaos.

But she wasn't...

So she stood up again.

The film enveloped the Earth, forming a giant eggshell that minimized the impact of the death spot.

Hare changed the form of the film, turning it into a large net that enveloped the death spot, preventing its energy from leaking out.

The collision of the death spot was just the beginning; the Honkai energy it would release was the nightmare that would destroy everything. If Hare didn't isolate the death spot, a Great Honkai Eruption that would sweep the globe and destroy all life would break out.

The film net continuously compressed, shrinking the death spot smaller and smaller. Then, Hare shifted space, swallowing the entire death spot and transferring it into her own internal world.

Bang—

Hare's body instantly exploded. Even if she was a being of pure Honkai, her body couldn't contain so much Honkai energy at once.

But if she gave up, then everything would truly be over.

Hare re-formed her body and mind, desperately imprisoning the death spot within her, not letting a single trace of Honkai energy leak out.

After dying an unknown number of times, Hare, so weak she could barely open her eyes, finally managed to completely seal the death spot within her body.

But this was just the forerunner. Behind it followed an even more powerful death spot...

"Ugh... I wonder if there's still a chance to hide in the underground shelter with Gray Serpent and the others."

After the death spot disappeared, Hare looked at the even larger one that appeared in the sky, now that its path was clear. Her face was ashen, and she had no will to resist any longer.

———————————————

The death spot, larger than the Eastern Hemisphere, crashed into the Earth like a monstrous planetary beast.

The powerful impact instantly threw everything on the ground high into the air. All living things were crushed into cosmic dust by the gravitational anomaly before they could even land.

The third planet of the solar system, Earth, was knocked out of its orbit by the collision. The planetary alignment was disrupted, and the gravitational balance with the star was instantly lost. The out-of-control planetary core exploded, and humanity's home, the cradle of life, Mother Earth, instantly disintegrated into pieces.

The shockwave of the explosion spread out in all directions, towards the other planets in the solar system.

She had successfully destroyed humanity and, exceeding the mission's budget, destroyed the Earth, but Sirin was not happy...

She had nothing to begin with, but perhaps the heavens took pity on her and gave her a second chance, a possibility to start over.

But now, she had destroyed everything, all of it...

Ryn was probably still alive, right? He must be alive...

But she no longer had the face to see him again. She would just give him the entire Imaginary Space...

Sirin floated in space, not speaking, not thinking, letting the impact of Earth's explosion carry her like accelerating space debris, drifting towards an unknown destination.

One day...

One month...

One year...

....

After drifting in space for an unknown amount of time, Sirin forgot how to think, forgot language.

But she had one thought, a strong desire to open the door to the Imaginary Space...

But why did she want to open the door to the Imaginary Space? What was the Imaginary Space? Was someone waiting for her there?

Maybe, maybe someone very important, but she didn't know...

After hesitating for a thousand years in the river of time, her thoughts nearly stagnant, having completely forgotten who she was, Sirin made up her mind to open that door.

Even if it was just a fleeting glimpse of light, at least she would know what existed there, why she had forgotten everything, even herself, yet still yearned for that place.

The door opened, and the girl saw a very handsome man who made her heart race.

Everything in the Imaginary Space was as it had been, exactly the same as when she had left.

Only the young man had changed his posture. He was no longer reaching out to stop her, but sitting there quietly.

Sirin moved her limbs, which had been still for millennia. Uncoordinated, she stumbled towards Ryn.

Ryn showed that familiar smile of his and opened his arms to catch her.

"All these countless years... you've worked hard..."

"Wuuu..." Sirin didn't know why, but she couldn't stop crying. Yet her tear ducts, long forgotten and dry, produced only a single teardrop. She could only rely on instinct to sob continuously.

"Cry, go on and cry... you can vent any of your emotions here with me. I will listen to them all." Ryn gently patted Sirin's back, slowly stroking her head.

"Sleep... you need to rest well..."

"Okay..."

Sirin's weary soul felt a sense of release at last, and she slowly let down her guard...

*Puchi—*

Sirin looked at the blood gushing from her abdomen, staring at Ryn in disbelief.
