Lu Jinchen grinned, his cold, handsome face lighting up with a dangerous charm. His voice dropped, low and teasing. "Are you jealous, Xia Yuqing?"
Xia Yuqing scoffed and crossed her arms as she sat on his lap, refusing to look at him. "Jealous? Don't flatter yourself," she muttered.
Lu Jinchen chuckled, his arms wrapping loosely around her waist. "You can deny it all you want, but I saw the fire in your eyes," he teased, his voice low and amused. "You looked like you were ready to kill her."
"I was angry because she barged in and acted shamelessly," she huffed. "Even last time, she claimed to be your wife. So, I had to teach her a lesson. That's all. It has nothing to do with you."
"Oh really?" he said, raising an eyebrow. "So it didn't bother you at all when she sat on my lap?"
