Jareth was just making his way down the grand staircase in his house, on his way out, when Dorianna paid him an uninvited visit.
She strode past the guard at the door, and Farkas hurriedly moved to intercept her.
"Welcome, Lady Dorianna," he greeted with a bow. "Please, now is not a good time. Master Jareth has said he does not want any visitors this morning. He would be very offended if I let you through, Miss."
Dorianna let out an angry hiss as she rolled her eyes.
"I don't care what you're saying. I am here to see Jareth, and I will see him," she said, leaning forward to meet Farkas's eyes squarely.
The older werewolf cowered in fear, but he still could not let her through. He did not dare go against his master's orders.
"I am deeply sorry, my lady," he said again, his tone pitiful as he pleaded with her. "I will be in terrible trouble if I disobey my master. That, I cannot do."
