King spoke cautiously, sneaking a glance at his boss Kaido. He knew all too well how much Kaido valued these Zoan-type Devil Fruits.
Especially the most unique Mythical Zoan—it had originally been reserved for Yamato, kept safe all this time without finding a worthy bearer.

Kaido stared blearily at the chests for a long moment before coming to his senses. Slamming his massive palm down, he shattered the table before him and glared furiously at Boros, shouting.
Just as the Big Mom Pirates had an obsession with food-related Paramecia, the Beasts Pirates—and Kaido in particular—were obsessed with Zoan-type Devil Fruits.
He had once dreamed of building an army composed entirely of Zoan users. When reality proved that impossible, he had reluctantly turned to artificial fruits.
Now Boros intended to take the Devil Fruits he had painstakingly gathered—especially that Mythical Zoan. How could Kaido possibly swallow such an insult?
"Bring them up."
Boros completely ignored Kaido's rage, speaking expressionlessly to King.
In the past, even against Whitebeard, Kaido would never have hesitated to swing his kanabo in fury. Whether he could win or not was one thing—but on this sea, there was no one Kaido feared!

At best, they could be developed to stand on the same tier as Kaido or Charlotte Linlin—strength that Boros hardly deemed worth acknowledging.
That was why, when Kizaru asked him to help find Devil Fruits, Boros casually handed over the four he had collected.
The fact that all four fruits came from the Beasts Pirates was simply because the Big Mom Pirates had none in reserve.

It turned out that Boros, through sheer overwhelming psychic force, had ripped open space itself, creating a temporary passage linking him and Kizaru.
This violent rending, however, irreparably damaged the spatial fabric of the area, which was why Brûlée's mirror world had been destroyed as collateral.

Muttering to himself, Kizaru sent the Devil Fruits out through the chat group one by one.
Ever since Orochimaru discovered that the chat group's teleportation function could allow Zoan ability users' beast forms to 'stow away' into other worlds, Zoan Devil Fruits had become a strategic resource that Kizaru prioritized collecting.
But Devil Fruits were already rare enough. Excluding the "useless" Paramecia and Logia types, the Zoans left were even fewer.
Even with the Navy's vast reach, they had only managed to gather three Zoan Fruits in a short time.
Luckily, Boros had delivered big, even bringing a rare Mythical Zoan, solving Kizaru's urgent problem.
