"By the majesty of The One, and the gods and goddesses—THAT'S ENOUGH!" Silas roared in fury, forced to unleash his spiritual energy to stop Ares and Castiel from tearing each other apart.
He blasted a wave of spirit energy that sent them flying in opposite directions.
Ares hit the ground hard, his back and head smashing into a bed of gravel. Castiel Granville slammed into a stack of wooden crates, both men writhing in pain, unable to stand.
"This is not the time for a fight! What the hell are you two doing?! Cut out this reckless, selfish behavior!" Silas growled. His face flushed with rage.
It was the first time he'd allowed his fury to show so vividly. He was usually the calm one—even in chaos. Rage only destroys the one who holds it.
He took a long breath, trying to unclench the tightness gripping his body. "Remind me—patience is a virtue."
