Brea cursed whatever caused the traffic. Here she was taking a shortcut to her home through the forest because she needed to arrive home before her mother did. Brea nearly cursed out loud when a twig caught her hair.
It pulled her hair back. She cried out in pain and stopped the horse. She broke the twig and scoffed. She cursed her annoying mother for making her to hide. She hated that Pippa was such an idiot not to tell her that she had a plan in the letter and she hated that her father was too weak to keep her mother occupied.
To be honest, she had no faith in him. He seemed to lose his strength whenever it came to pleasing her mother. It irked her so much.
Brea continued riding. She could see her house in the horizon, she kicked the horse harder and held on tighter as it neighed and ran faster.
...
"Oh finally," Samira said in relief as soon as the carriage began to move. She did not know if she would be able to handle being in here with Endrick for a few more minutes.
