Angelica was silent. Ian sighed internally, there she went again with that blank expression. He had gotten used to seeing it in the past few days. It was an expression that really allowed him to be unable to read her emotions.
He was someone who prided himself in the ability to know what people were thinking, but Angelica did not give him a single hint at all. He always had to guess what she was thinking, and now was no exception.
"Communication is the only way that I will be able to understand you, and it works in the opposite way, so tell me what you actually dislike about my gesture?" he asked.
Angelica's eyes moved to the window. She was reluctant to speak, that in itself was obvious.
"Oh, so you can speak what is on your mind when you need something from me, but when you do not need anything from me and you already got what you want, it is no longer convenient for you, you are unable to express yourself," Ian said.
