"Would you like some wine my lady?" Edward turned to Angelica and offered her some wine. He had been watching her attentively ever since they met.
Angelica did not find herself uncomfortable, rather she was irritated. If everyone else was not present, she would have put him in his place. However, her hands were tied, she was not going to bother herself.
"No, thank you for your offer." She replied.
"You do not drink wine my lady?" Edward asked.
"Not necessarily, I just do not drink fermented wine." She replied.
"Ahh, I see my lady, you are one very kept woman, beautiful, charming." Edward's voice trailed off, he looked at her with wonder and splendour.
"Please stop calling me my lady, Angelica is my name." Angelica sounded irked, however, she kept her voice calm.
"Ahhh, you want me to call you by your first name already, how quick our relationship is progressing." Edward cooed in delight.
