[3rd POV]
"Wh-What do you mean I become yours? Do you even know what you are asking, girl?" Lilith sputtered slightly, completely and utterly baffled at the words of the woman in front of her, having never expected her to ask such a thing.
"Hmm? Oh, I didn't take the Mother of Devils to be a pervert~ Because I certainly didn't mean it in that way" Morgan teased, a small grin on her face as she realized the woman thought she was asking something far less appropriate of her. Morgan had to admit that the idea was...appealing, but she wouldn't ask such a thing of someone she had only recently met.
She was not a monster or anything.
Although, she wasn't opposed to slowly getting Lilith's attention. As the woman was one of the most beautiful people she had ever met, and was a good fit for her peerage, and was also similar to her Fate counterpart in terms of appearance. This meant she was just like Scathach in the fact that she was not a normal person in the least.
Lilith could only blush slightly at the teasing that she was being forced under. She had never been teased before, not openly like that. She had been mocked by her oh so loving husband, Lucifer. But she had never been teased or messed with.
It was strangely warming. But at the same time, she had to show she was powerful to this woman she barely knew. So, she glared at her.
"What did you mean by it then? Because "Becoming Yours" only sounds like one thing. Or are you truly telling me you did not mean it in that way?" Lilith asked, her glare sharp as she stared at the woman in front of her.
Morgan just ignored the glare, not even remotely intimidated, and waved off her concern.
"As appealing as that idea sounds, it's not what I meant. No, instead, I was going to offer for you to become a member of my peerage" Morgan began, as Lilith's confusion grew, staring at the woman with a tilt of her head.
"A peerage? What is that?" Lilith questioned, having never heard of it before.
The peerage system had been developed long after the death of her husband and her own kidnapping and subsequent torture and experimentation. She had been unaware of all the changes that had been happening over the centuries, and the peerage system was one of the biggest things she had missed.
After all, the peerage system hadn't even been developed that long ago. It had only been made after the Devil Civil War, with Ajuka being given the time to finally develop the system and the evil pieces. It was the civil war itself that had caused the four Satans to become what they are now.
"It is rather complicated to explain in depth. But in simplest terms, it is the act of me turning you into a member of my "Family" of sorts. This is done through a rather neat little item called an "Evil Piece" which takes the form of a chess piece. By using it on you, you will be bound to me, but in return, you shall become stronger, and will officially be recognized as mine. And with that recognition, you shall be protected, as nobody in the Underworld will dare to touch what I own" Morgan explained slowly, as Lilith's face warped several times, the more she listened the more she frowned.
"So in simplest terms...I'll become what...your servant?" Lilith asked, her frown slowly warping from a frown into a deep scowl, realizing that Morgan was not asking her to be her woman.
She was asking her to be her servant.
"That is correct. But unlike other "Kings" of peerages, I do not treat my peerage members as servants. They are more like my...friends. And once you officially reach high class in devil society, you'll be able to claim a peerage of your own, giving you more freedom. Of course, you'll likely automatically get that. And you could likely get it without my aid, but you will not get the protection I can provide should you join me, nor will you get the boost in power" Morgan responded, as Lilith scowled.
"And more importantly, you will not get to meet your great granddaughter, who is a member of my peerage" Morgan finished, as the woman stilled upon hearing these words. She knew that Rizevim had likely had children, but to hear he had a grandchild was a shock.
"...You seem to think that I will be in danger should I not agree to join you" Lilith said, as Morgan nodded.
"That's because you will be, Lilith. If you do not join me, I am absolutely confident that the Lords of the various clans of the Underworld will either want you dead, or studied. Because you are the only devil that can easily have children as if you are a simple human. And even if they do not want you dead, the other factions certainly will, especially the Gods, who are already growing increasingly antagonistic with us thanks to some of the things that have been happening" Morgan responded, agreeing with her words.
She knew the Greek pantheon especially, would want her dead.
"What could you have possibly done to make the Gods angry with you?" Lilith asked confusedly.
"I merged the Underworld, Grigori, and Heaven into one greater faction. I have an alliance with the Norse Pantheon and Yokai. And while they do not know it yet, I killed Hades, and claimed the seat of the Biblical God for myself" Morgan replied simply, as Lilith's eyes shot wide and her jaw dropped to the floor.
"WHAT?!"
"Mmhmm, it only happened recently, but I am the current Biblical God, and leader of the "Heavenly Demonic Union" a cheesy name, but an accurate one. And even now we are in talks with the Yokai to merge their faction into ours, creating an even greater power. But at this moment, I am in charge of the most powerful faction in the world" Morgan informed her, amusement swimming on her face as Lilith's face went slack jawed.
She knew Morgan was strong, but not this strong. Not to the point that she had basically created a faction that could fight all the others...simultaneously.
"...Why is someone like you inviting me to your peerage? I am the old generation, the ex wife of the Lucifer, a woman who had been fighting with him against others for thousands of years. I should be seen as a threat, because I am one. And yet you invite me to join you, why?" Lilith asked as she processed the new information she had gotten in regards to Morgan.
"Because you are worth having, Lilith. And do you really think I give a damn? I have a dragon, a good killer, a maid that carries the name "Lucifuge", a literal saint, and both the dragon emperors. You joining my peerage is not going to change anything, because my peerage is already batshit insane" Morgan replied with a chuckle, knowing that Lilith would probably be one of the most normal members, alongside Rossweisse.
She would likely only bring shock for a short while and then everyone will get over it.
"...And what if I decided to betray you? To try and kill you or feed information to someone else?" Lilith asked, wanting to hear her answers before she decided anything. This was a decision that would literally decide the future of her life, and she could not make it lightly at all.
"You won't, Lilith. I am a literal God, so trust me when I say that I can clearly see what type of person you are. And you are not evil, you are not arrogant, and you are nothing like that worthless man you had been married to. Why else would I be so willing to recruit you?" Morgan questioned, as she stared at her with warmth in her eyes, seeing the wide eyes of Lilith, and the slight pink that dusted her cheeks at her words.
'...She is different than I was expecting. Far less...manipulative and perverted. I had been completely prepared for her to try and seduce me. But here she is, acting so...kind' Lilith thought, trying to fight down the small dusting of pink that was staining her cheeks.
But that was very hard. And she couldn't help but look down in thought, wondering what decision to make, before breathing in deeply and cementing herself, deciding that she had a decision in mind. She just hoped that it would be the right one, as she looked up and spoke.
"I'll do it, I'll join you and become a member of your peerage!" Lilith said with a firm expression, causing Morgan to smile softly, one thought on her mind as she stared at the mother of all devils.
'...Looks like I just got a new Queen~'
