After the enjoyable night I had with my girls, the days had passed by cleanly without much of a fuss. The devil society got over the strange events that happened during my ascension and everything else, and my control over my new domains settled as I practiced them a lot.
Turns out learning and mastering domains isn't nearly as difficult as you'd expect. You'd think it would take years upon years of mastering it, but I guess with the talent I have and with enough practice, it's only natural I'd master it rapidly.
My domains were incredibly powerful, and their reach had expanded well beyond what I had been expecting. I basically had absolute control over both the devil part of the Underworld and the Greek Underworld.
The Greek Pantheon was trying their best to find out who had killed Hades, but none of their tracking would ever lead back to me no matter how hard they tried. I made sure that nothing would be leading to me.
It would take the power of someone stronger than me to find me. And there were only three beings in this universe capable of that.
One of them was my future mate, one of them likely couldn't care less and is in the dimensional gap. And the final one is locked up in a seal that not just anyone could break. Only Rizevim would be capable of it at this point, and he didn't have the means to do it just yet either way.
Trihexa was a future threat that I do genuinely need to think of a way to deal with. As it was pretty much inevitable for it to be released in the future. Even if I stop Rizevim that thing will get out sooner or later either way, and once it is, the world itself will be under serious threat.
And I need to be ready to deal with that threat. Which means I need to continue to rise in power and eventually surpass the dragon gods. Both in order to deal with Trihexa and in order to figure out what the hell happened for the Fate universe to be so connected to this one.
Not matter how I think about it, I can't figure out a reasonable way for the two to be so connected. Meaning that the scheming multiverse traveling magic user is likely up to this. That man was a threat that I cannot deal with, not until I am far stronger.
And he was likely pranking the hell out of me right now. That or the dimensional gap is more literal, and our universe is actually connected to a Fate universe. At least one of them.
Either way, I needed to get stronger. Which meant I needed to finish this "Season" and...maybe just kill more gods and other entities in the future. As I found that by killing gods, I should be able to absorb their divinities like with Hades.
And if I was to find a primordial to kill, then I'll get a lot of power in that way too. As Primordials conceptually have more control over their domains than even Gods. But Gods can actually have more firepower than they do.
It was a weird grey area for why gods like Shiva and Indra could be stronger than any primordial, even though Primordials literally are the personification of certain concepts. None of it really made sense, but this universe was basically powered by big titties so I guess that's not too surprising.
I definitely needed to visit Percy Jackson in the future if that universe was a possible visit. The Gods there were far stronger than the ones here, and the Primordials are on an entirely different tier. Even the simplest Gods there are stronger than most of the ones here, with only the likes of Shiva and Indra being stronger.
And the Primordials in that universe are almost certainly stronger than the Dragon Gods.
But again, this universe worked strangely and the concepts of the universes are evidently different from one another. I imagine that IF I can travel there, my divinity will be massively strengthened, and Ophis would likely catapult to a higher being.
Likely on the same level as Khaos itself in that universe. Making her a universal level being at the very least.
At the moment I'm sitting at my desk, reading through the papers that had been sent to me over the day. It was mostly old farts complaining about reforms I am putting through, nothing too serious. None of their complaints were going to amount to anything, as the reforms I am putting through are actually helping them in the end.
They'd just need to wait a few weeks to start to see the changes and why they are a good thing for the underworld. As if I kept the old laws, it would eventually lead to another Great War, and one far far far worse than the last.
Because it would involve humans, and would involve sacred gears of immense power on each side. It would be a bloodbath that we would likely win in the end, but not without a lot of loss.
Well, at least that was the case before I come into the picture. I could single handedly stop any war that might happen so it doesn't even matter.
Besides the complaints from the old coots, there was also papers with information about my potions business and it's increasingly large production. I was producing tens of thousands of potions a week that was being used by pretty much every devil in the underworld.
And said potions were saving thousands of lives.
I would just make a clone or something to do this, but I found that most of my clones find it as utterly boring as I do. It's not like it is hard or anything, just really really boring.
I did like to put on a tv show in the background while I am doing my work. At the moment I'm binge watching Modern Family. Fantastic little sitcom show that I have been truly enjoying. I'm only on season 3 though so there is still a lot left to watch.
...Anyways, my enjoyment of the show and the boring atmosphere from the work was cut off when the door to my office opened. And in walked my favorite maid, who had a serious look on her face...like usual.
"Grayfia? What can I do for you?" I asked, looking at the woman. Usually she would come in to talk with me later on, not so early into the day at ten in the morning.
"Master, it would seem that the peace conference date has officially been decided, as well as it's location" Grayfia responded to me, causing me to raise and eyebrow before nodding. I already knew where it would happen, but after looking over the paper, it seems that it is happening in three days.
A bit soon, but I can't complain. They had been moving around the date a lot now that the Khaos Brigade had been attacking and falling apart and becoming an issue again. It was all combined to be pretty damn annoying.
"Alright, make sure the team is prepared for this in the next couple of days. I'd rather not embarrass myself in front of the entire supernatural world" I ordered, as the woman nodded in confirmation before walking up, giving me a perfect view of her long legs.
I wonder who they'll actually bring for this damn thing? My side is pretty obvious and guaranteed at this point, but what about the angels and the fallen. It's not like they can bring what they had in the show, meaning they'll probably be bringing a lot more powerful characters than originally.
Might even see a Longinus user or two that I didn't already have working with and for me.
I'd love to recruit the final ones that I don't have in my peerage, but they were already working with the other supernatural factions, so that wasn't going to be happening. Unless I managed to rip them from the hands of the other factions, but...that was definitely possible actually.
Although taking away the heavy hitter from the angel faction might actually start a war over it, so it's probably best we just avoid that for now.
As I set the paper down onto the table, I let out a low sigh, and spoke to myself.
"...Three days until the next step"
