Without even thinking, Selina darted under the covers.
"No!"
Logan: "…"
He let out a low chuckle.
"So in your eyes, I'm just some kind of animal?"
Selina's eyes brimmed with tears. How thick-skinned was he to ask that so casually? Did he seriously not know he acted like a beast?
Logan spoke slowly.
"I want you to be my executive assistant."
Selina blinked, curious when he shifted to business.
"Hmm?"
"You'll keep managing the design department," he said with a smile in his eyes. "But Mrs. Reid, you'll need to move your office upstairs."
"It won't be too busy, but I need you."
Selina understood instantly.
Logan had plenty of secretaries and assistants. He didn't need people—he needed her close by.
"There's someone planted on my team." Logan's eyes went cold.
Selina's face turned serious. "Who?"
"I don't know."
Selina froze. He didn't know?
