Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: Forge Reunion

At the Nether Forge, Shiki has killed multiple soldiers that were guarding the forge; she endlessly cut through soldiers until she reached the base of the forge. Shiki pulled out the soul of Melty Bloodfallen and placed it in the centre of the forge. Shiki started to engulf herself in black magic as she grabbed onto the large lava casket above and dragged it down towards her. Afterwards, Shiki allowed her black magic to flow into the lava; as the two elements mixed, a purple-like substance was created. Thanatos flew out of Shiki's body and said, "Can this substance really create a new body, and don't we still need something linked to the abyss?" Shiki giggled as she responded, "Yes, to create a new body, three things are required. First is simple: it's the soul of the person you want in the body. The other two are elemental matters. This substance is black matter. Now it's time to get that piece of the abyss." Shiki ordered Thanatos to watch over the forge. Shiki then summoned the E.N.D. and cracked open the space in front of her. As she walked through the portal, she arrived at a beach in the human realm. Shiki looked towards the ocean as she felt a familiar presence on this beach. While walking into the water, she crouched and picked up Rinko's decaying head. Shiki started to imbue the head with black magic, the pressure of the black magic starting to crush the skull, but before the skull was crushed, Shiki saw a black decaying crystal inside Rinko's head. Shiki pulled out the crystal and dropped the head back in the ocean and headed back to the forge. When Shiki arrived back at the forge, she grabbed the casket full of black matter and covered Melty's soul with it. The black matter started merging with Melty's soul and started taking the shape of a body. Shiki placed the Abyssal crystal onto the soul. While the crystal started merging with the soul, Thanatos said, "Shiki, we are surrounded. One of the pillars of the Nether Realm is here." Shiki looked at the forming body and said, "Let's go. Once she wakes up, she will know where to find me." Shiki swiftly went back through the cracked space. At the entrance of the forge, Selena stands with thousands of soldiers that started rushing into the building. Selena ordered Pvelgr to fly around the building, but then Selena felt a chill run down her spine. Selena started hearing screaming coming from inside the forge. One of the soldiers screamed, "It's a demon; she's fast. Ahhh." As the screaming stopped, Selena took a fighting stance, but before she could react, a sword was pointed towards her neck as she heard a familiar voice coming from behind her: "It's been a long time, Selena." She turned around slowly and saw a demon with black and red hair and demon horns. Selena looked into her eyes and said, "Indeed it has, Melty Bloodfallen." Once Selena called out her name, snow started falling from the sky. Melty sheathed her sword and opened her hand and let snow fall into it. Melty looked up towards the sky and said, "How beautiful." Selena walked up next to her as Pvelgr flew down and rested on Selena's arm. Selena looked at Melty and said, "How are you here?" Melty responded quickly. "The black fragment recovered my soul from the house of Styx and then created me a new body." Selena looked at Melty, slightly annoyed, saying, "Creating new bodies is completely forbidden." Melty's expression didn't change. Selena opened her hand and said, "Melty Bloodfallen, please join us in this realm. Your creations have changed all the realms, and even though your body is completely forbidden, I'm sure Watanabe can make an expression." Melty had a lifeless look in her eyes and said, "No, I created the Nether Forge for myself mainly; it allows for the creation of divine relics to be made, and once they're made, they spread across the realms until someone finds them. I refuse to join you." Selena wasn't surprised by her answer and asked Melty, "How did you create the four legendary swords?" Melty didn't respond; she turned around and opened a blood portal. Melty looked towards Selena and said, "I used four of the rarest types of matter and merged them with human souls. Afterwards, I forged the legendary four swords, Origin, E.N.D, Tsuno and Iyasu, but when they were forged, only Origin and E.N.D were able to develop a consciousness, but it's pointless knowing this information; no creation from that forge will come closer to those four swords." Selena was disappointed by the response and started to charge up an Afterflow blast. Without Melty looking, Selena said, "Alright, I guess I can't stop you, but you can take this." Selena fired the afterflow blast towards Melty, but it was blocked by just Melty's hand. Melty turned around, waved towards Selena and said, "Oh, and say hi to my sister for me." Melty walked through the blood portal as it instantly closed behind her. Shortly after, Kaya slammed down behind Selena and said, "My sister was here; where did she go?" Selena responds, "Oh, you just missed her, but your journey ends here." Selena dashed towards her as Kaya stood there in her fighting stance, ready for battle. Melty arrived at the beach Shiki was at and said, "So what now?" Shiki smirked and said, "Now it's time we bring forth oblivion." Melty smiled in response while saying, "Sounds interesting." Shiki cut open the space and said, "There's one more thing we need before we bring upon oblivion." Shiki and Melty both went through the cracked space as it shortly closed behind them.
