Chapter 346 - CH: 343 Flying Together in Happiness

{Chapter: 343 Flying Together in Happiness}

Sif stood still for a long moment, her gaze unreadable—like a storm cloud trying to decide whether to break. Then, with a breath that trembled only slightly, she said in a cold, measured voice, "I've thought about it... and I've decided. I agree to marry you."

William arched a brow, the corner of his mouth curling into something between amusement and mischief. "You? Agreeing to something I want? That's... surprisingly delightful."

"Yes," Sif said, her voice tight, her posture rigid. "I agree."

He stepped closer, the shadows dancing behind him as if echoing his mood. "I wonder what game you're playing, my Sif. But whatever it is, I don't mind losing, as long as you're mine in the end." He reached forward and lightly pinched her chin between his fingers, tilting her head up.

Her eyes were like sharpened steel. "Take your hand off me. Now."

William's smile deepened, though he withdrew his hand with mock elegance. "You just said yes, didn't you? So why act like I'm still a stranger?"

"I said I would marry you. That doesn't make me yours. Not yet." Her voice trembled slightly—whether from anger, restraint, or something deeper, even she wasn't sure.

He let out a low chuckle and circled her like a predator amused by a defiant prey. "So noble. So bound by honor and old Asgardian customs... I suppose that's what makes you fascinating. So rigid on the outside, but I wonder if you've ever been curious what it's like to let go."

She shoved him back as he leaned in. "Don't mistake agreement for affection. This isn't love. It's duty. Politics. A necessity."

"Perhaps," he said, hands raised innocently. "But sometimes necessity breeds passion. I've seen it happen... enemies becoming lovers... warriors burning brighter in conflict than in peace."

"Not with me," Sif snapped. "You think power gives you the right to everything you want. That's not strength. That's cowardice hiding behind entitlement."

"And yet," he said softly, stepping closer again, "you didn't say no until I asked for more. Makes me wonder—what part of you keeps entertaining the idea?"

She hesitated.

It was only for a heartbeat. But in that moment, something flickered behind her eyes—something old and buried.

"No," she whispered, more to herself than him.

William leaned in, his tone now a murmur. "Even your rage is beautiful, Sif. I wonder if your hatred burns so hot because once, just once, you imagined something else."

She stared at him, breathing hard. "I imagined killing you."

He laughed, a soft, dark sound. "Then at least I'm in your thoughts."

Sif turned away sharply. "You're not worthy of what you want."

He didn't follow. "Maybe not. But one day, you'll wonder if that fire you carry was always meant for war... or for something wilder."

"Damn it." Sif said angrily.

"Power is really good. With power, you can do whatever you want. Without power, you can only be manipulated by others." William exhaled in Sif's ear.

Sif's body trembled slightly and shouted, "You used your power in the wrong place."

"Power itself is violent, so there is no right or wrong, let alone those false words of benevolence." William said with a trace of disdain.

"I have never seen such a shameless person as you, with a lot of twisted logic." Sif shouted.

"You will see more shameless." William picked up Sif and walked towards the bed.

"What are you going to do?" Sif shouted.

"Let me show you something more shameless." William said with a wicked smile.

"Ah..." Sif screamed and was thrown on the bed by William.

William pounced on Sif who was about to escape, "I really miss you. Last time, I also pressed you like this, Sif."

"Asshole, get off, get off." Sif struggled hard, but her hands were pressed firmly on the bed by William.

"Sif, a night of love is worth a thousand gold. Let's do what a couple should do. I want you to be the first person to try it." William said with a wicked smile.

"No, you can't do this." Sif struggled hard.

"You women like to say the opposite. If you can't, you can. I understand."

William lowered his head quickly and kissed Sif on the lips.

Sif's eyes widened, "Mmm..." Sif twisted her head hard to prevent William from succeeding easily.

"Don't move around, cooperate a little." William fixed Sif's head with one hand.

"Damn, bastard..." Sif started to bite William's lips with her teeth. It would be great if she could bite off this guy's tongue.

In order to achieve this, Sif stopped struggling and kissed William fiercely, biting hard on his tongue with her teeth.

William's eyes flashed with strong evil intentions. She actually wanted to bite me to death, but doing so would only make me feel more comfortable.

Sif found that no matter how she bit, it felt like she was biting on a sponge, and it was impossible to bite off William's tongue.

William was still fiercely invading her mouth exploring its depths. Sif slowly found that she was no longer able to bite William and could only passively accept it.

'Damn, damn, my body has become strange, how could this happen?' Sif said weakly in her mind.

William let go of Sif's swollen lips, "Sif, you bit well just now, your bite force is very strong, I'll change a place for you to bite in the future, it will definitely be very interesting."

"You, you beast." Sif panted, with only shame and anger in her eyes.

"I'm not a good person to begin with." William said indifferently, "Let's continue now."

"If you continue, I will hate you forever." Sif said coldly.

"You said that if I don't do this, you won't hate me anymore."

"You can try."

William raised his eyebrows, "Then try it. I really want to see how you will treat me, your future husband."

Sif clenched her fists. In order to find out the weakness of this guy, do I have to make such a sacrifice? Damn, is this the only way?

William grabbed Sif's clothes with one hand, "Wearing clothes is such a waste, how about taking it off?"

"If you take it off, I will kill you." Sif shouted.

Whoosh!

The t-shirt was taken off by William, revealing the black lacy bra inside.

"I, I will kill you." Sif shouted.

"Damn it, it's not like I haven't seen it before, and there is also a bra, come on, take the bra off." William's hand reached out to Sif's bra.

"You—" Sif's voice trembled with fury, but the words never fully formed.

Just then, Jane stepped out from the adjoining room, her damp hair clinging to her shoulders, dressed in a simple robe. Her eyes immediately landed on the two figures entangled on the bed. She froze, then let out a breath and shook her head with a tired sort of amusement. "Seriously? Are you two... rolling in the sheets now?"

William looked over with a crooked smirk. "Jane, you're done with your shower. Why don't you join us? Could be fun."

Jane rolled her eyes as she walked closer. "Play with your thing, not me," she muttered, but a faint flush betrayed her. There was a quiet fondness in her gaze as it lingered on William.

Sif turned her head away, cheeks burning with a mixture of shame, rage, and something far harder to define. "Don't look at me. This—this is his doing. I don't get it, Jane. You're a smart woman. How can you stay with a man who uses his strength to push a woman down? the man you like is suppressing a woman, your reaction is too bland. Doesn't it bother you?"

Jane hesitated, then sat at the edge of the bed, her tone soft. "Sometimes it does. But... I know him. Better than most. William's not a good man, maybe not even a kind one—but he's loyal to the people he chooses. And when he loves... he really loves. Even if the way he shows it is twisted."

Her voice faltered as she looked down at her hands. "I know slapping him wouldn't fix anything. I will definitely suffer a greater loss. I'd just end up hurt or ignored. But walking away? That'd hurt more than anything. I guess... I've made peace with the monster because I see the man underneath. Even if others don't. In all this the most important thing is that I can't stop him. I am such a pitiful woman."

Sif's eyes burned. "So you just surrender to power? That's it?"

Jane met her gaze. "No. I stay because I want to. Maybe that makes me weak. Or maybe it makes me the only one strong enough to love him completely."

Sif looked away, fists clenched at her sides. "You sound like you've accepted being owned."

"I sound like someone who made a choice. But you, Sif... you're the one I pity," Jane said gently. "Because you feel something for him, too. And it's tearing you apart."

"I feel nothing but hatred," Sif snapped.

William chuckled darkly. "You sure? That fury in your eyes... looks an awful lot like desire. The way you struggle, Sif, it's like you're fighting more than just me."

Sif's face twisted. "Don't flatter yourself."

Jane reached for William's hand, her voice suddenly soft again. "Stop it. Don't push her like that. She's not ready to face what she feels. You're not helping."

William tilted his head. There was still amusement in his gaze, but something else shimmered there too—an understanding, fleeting and buried deep beneath the arrogance. He looked between the two women and sighed.

"You know what?" he said, lying back with his arms stretched behind his head. "Maybe the two of you are more alike than you think. Proud. Stubborn. Beautiful when angry."

Jane gave him a flat look. "Flattery won't save you."

"It never does," William said, then reached out and pulled her gently into his arms. His tone softened, almost unexpectedly. "But you... you always calm the storm in me, Jane."

She leaned into him despite herself, her expression wistful. "You always say the right thing right after doing the worst one."

William pressed a kiss to her temple. "Maybe that's because I'm always afraid of losing you."

Sif looked at the two of them in silence. Her hatred still boiled under the surface, but something in Jane's words echoed in her heart. A bitter truth she didn't want to acknowledge.

William turned to her one last time. "You can hate me all you like, Sif. But you'll never be able to ignore or leave me."

Sif turned her back, hiding her face. "Don't be so sure. One day, I might just kill you."

William grinned. "If you do... I hope it's after you've fallen for me. That would make the ending far more poetic."

Jane shook her head but smiled faintly. "You're impossible."

He looked down at her and whispered, "And yet you're still here."

Jane didn't reply. She just held on tighter.

Sif clenched her teeth, silently vowing that she would never fall like Jane did. And yet, somewhere deep down—where even a warrior goddess dared not look—her heart wavered.

William smiled evilly and said, "What pitiful or not, come on, I will take you to fly happily together."

"Ah..." Jane screamed and was pulled to the bed by William.

"Now let's sleep together." ..
