"Huh?" The attention of the knights on guard, was drawn to the incoming sounds of heavy hooves.
Emerging from nowhere, they watched as two panting steads grudgingly went past the building. Dragging a carriage behind, seeming to have been through hell and back. Slowly, the carriage came to a stop, right before the iron gates.
Waiting for a minute or two, after noticing no movement they glanced at each other through their helms. As the next moment, they were clutching their spears and heading towards the unknown vehicle.
A few meters away, though their spearheads were near the door, keeping a good distance. They could see the horses sitting on the ground, still panting and whinnying. Ignoring them, they were about taking another step forward when—
*BAM!
The knights immediately backed away, how far, they themselves couldn't tell, though it was enough to see an arrow coming.
"Ouch, where am l?" A voice came from within.
