Of course, he already knew what she wanted from him—he had sensed it in her lingering glances, in the way she hesitated around him—but he chose to be subtle.
He didn't want to make her any shyer than she already was.

The door of the master bedroom opened slowly, and Evelyn stepped out.
The faint golden glow of the hallway lantern cast her figure in a warm outline.
She wore a thin, delicate dress that clung to her curves, and with nothing beneath it, every detail of her body was visible.
Her pointed, hardened nipples pressed through the fabric, but Riley kept his eyes fixed on her face, refusing to embarrass her.
Evelyn swallowed nervously, her chest rising and falling.
"I've decided, Riley… I want you to be my man." Her voice was soft but steady. "Please… accept me."
She walked toward him one slow, almost trembling step at a time, as if gathering her courage with each movement.
