The human soldiers had a lot of thoughts about these dragons, for sure.
'Vicious beasts, not at all like normal chickens and ducks! Even rabid animals aren't as bad. These are demons in disguise! I pray for the souls of those whom they have killed—what if these demons snatched them with their teeth?'
'Normal chickens eat seeds, insects, grass… meat sometimes, alright. But these are predators! Absolute predators!'
'Their bodies should be burned after death so they wouldn't rise from the dead and hunt even more people. If they could be burned at all… And they definitely shouldn't be eaten. Their meat will be cursed.'
My Agents shared less superstitious and more relevant information. For example, they noted that these dragons weren't at all scared by humans, unlike most beasts in presence of the giants like them. And while the chickens were picked from a domesticated breed, the ducks were captured in the wild.
