Chapter 306: Stepping on Mary Sue? That's a Bit Too... (3)

After finishing her piece, Lilith turned and left gracefully.

It was as if the stepping incident had left no impact on her at all.

Ahem. Though she had a thick skin outwardly, being seen in such a state by her fiancé was still a little embarrassing.

So she decided to retreat for now.

Once Lilith was gone, Rong immediately took her place on Shia's other side, wrapping her arms around his waist and curling up against his chest, listening to his heartbeat with deep attachment.

"Master, do you really have to go?"

That awful woman was already mean to him—wouldn't she be even worse once they arrived at her home?

At least at school, she and the senior were there to protect him. But once he went over there, what would happen?

"Mmm, I already promised, so I have to go."

"Will you be gone for long?"

"Not too long. Just a few days."

"Where is this Guen family? Can't we go too?"

"The Guen family, as an ancient lineage, has its own territory. You can only enter if you are accompanied by a family member or have an invitation."

"Will it be dangerous?"

"Do you really have so little confidence in your master's strength?"

Rong pursed her lips slightly, still somewhat worried.

But seeing Shia's calm and assured expression, she knew he had already planned everything out.

Still, she couldn't help but worry—more than that, she didn't want to be apart from him.

Sensing the little demon in his arms growing uneasy, Shia gently squeezed her hand.

It was their familiar silent signal; no more words were needed.

The mere thought of being separated for several days made Rong even more reluctant.

She lifted her head and, in a rare show of initiative, placed a soft kiss on his lips.

It was a light touch, as fleeting as a dragonfly skimming water, carrying the gentle fragrance of a young girl, tinged with a delicate sweetness.

She had only meant to kiss him once.

But once she truly felt her master's presence, she couldn't bring herself to part.

Since they were going to be apart…

Just one more kiss… and another…

She lingered, unwilling to let go.

Time slipped away unnoticed.

Usually shy, she had never been so forward before.

Shia, naturally, did not reject the rare initiative of his succubus maid.

As their closeness deepened, Rong nestled in his embrace, soft and obedient, as gentle as flowing spring water.

Since he was leaving for a while, she had to take her fill in advance.

Nearby, Lia watched, feeling envious.

What was going on here?

Wasn't she supposed to be first?

Why did she end up as the outsider instead?

She grew anxious, wanting to squeeze in.

But Rong had completely filled Shia's embrace.

Besides, she was too aggressive—there was no way to slip in.

She could only watch, fidgeting like an ant on a hot pan.

But was she someone who just stood by and watched?

No way!

She reached out and tugged at Rong.

"Move over, move over! Leave some space for me!"

Hogging him all to yourself was unacceptable!

Finally, Rong reluctantly let go and turned to Lia, hesitating before making a bit of room for her.

After all, they were best friends—she was still generous~!

Since Shia was leaving that night, there was still much to prepare.

After spending a little more time with them, he got up and headed to Ella's office.

Although Seven Shields Academy had a lenient management style, leaving school still required an official request.

As his freshman advisor, Ella had the authority to approve his leave.

Not that she would deny it—this was just a formality.

The real reason he came was to see this witch lady.

From what she had hinted at last time, the Witch Banquet was also planning to act during the birthday feast.

This made their meeting all the more crucial.

Ella did, indeed, have something to give him.

"This is the Philosopher's Stone. If necessary, it can help you defend against witches."

Ella opened a drawer, carefully placing the stone in his hands.

She was worried but could not directly intervene in the Guen family matters—her jurisdiction was limited to Seven Shields Academy.

Shia carefully stored the Philosopher's Stone away.

"Got it. I'll be careful."

As expected, Aunt Ella was as thoughtful as always.

This kind of meticulous concern—only a married woman could provide.

Ella gazed at him in silence, filled with reluctance and worry.

As a member of the Witch Banquet, this was all she could do for him.

Their eyes met, the blinds half-drawn, allowing a soft glow to filter through, casting light onto the ceiling.

The atmosphere gradually heated up.

Ella tilted her head slightly, pressing her cheek against Shia's chest.

Listening to his heartbeat, feeling the warmth of his body, her unease and reluctance were momentarily soothed.

"Kid, you have to come back safely."

"Mmm, I will."

Just as something meaningful was about to happen between them, a loud crunch broke the silence.

"Crunch, crunch…"

Ella stiffened for a moment, then turned toward the source of the sound.

Shia also quickly spotted the intruder.

Sitting at a desk nearby was a voluptuous woman, casually munching on sunflower seeds.

"Don't mind me, continue, continue."

Diana grinned, popping another seed into her mouth while giving them a knowing look.

Her long black hair fell over her face, partially obscuring her expression, but her crimson eyes sparkled with unrestrained amusement.

Shia felt Ella stiffen in his arms.

But what could they do against the powerful, voyeuristic, and mischievous evil goddess who ran the academy?

"Don't you think this is a bit inappropriate?"

"Do I?"

Peeping is very rude, you know.

Faced with the little one's reproachful gaze, the voyeuristic enchantress remained utterly unfazed.

She crossed her legs, her voluptuous figure leaning against the wall, exuding an innate seductive charm.

She even winked at Shia.

"What's wrong? You don't welcome me?"

"There's a time and place for everything."

"Aren't you here to request leave? You should be asking me, not someone else. Since I've come to you instead, shouldn't you be grateful?"

Diana rested her chin on one hand, tilting it slightly.

Her eyes, brimming with teasing amusement, locked onto Shia.

In that instant, Ella had a bad premonition.

Just then, Diana's gaze shifted toward Ella, meeting her eyes.

"A mere instructor like Ella has no authority. If you want a leave of absence, you should be asking me, the headmistress~."

Diana curled her finger at Shia.

"Come here, little one~."

Though her words were directed at Shia, her gaze remained fixed on Ella.

She was clearly doing this on purpose.

You're his advisor, right?

You were going to grant his leave, right?

Well, I just won't let you~.

Normally, Ella would have been able to approve Shia's leave.

But if Diana interfered, she had no way to resist.

Diana wore a smug, provocative expression.

She was clearly saying, "Beg me, and I might just approve it~."

However, her trick fell flat.

Ella simply turned to Shia.

"The headmistress won't let me approve your leave. You'll have to apply directly with her."

Now it was Diana's turn to be surprised.

She wasn't jealous? She wasn't angry? She wasn't upset?

How could she just let it go so easily?

She acted as if she didn't care at all.

Diana was momentarily at a loss.

There was no sense of satisfaction—how boring.

She waved a hand dismissively.

"Fine, I approve it."

Ella had won this round.

Seeing Diana's disinterested expression, Ella turned to Shia and winked.

Clearly, she had grown too.

Shia couldn't help but chuckle.

"Thank you, Headmistress."
