Unfortunately, all the private rooms were full, so Rafayel and Khazan would have to share a room this time.
Both of them collapsed onto their beds with a soft thud and lay still for a while.
After about five minutes of lounging around, Khazan finally spoke.
"Rafayel, you did well. Even adults would be exhausted after all that, but you hung in there. I'm sure your parents would be proud of you."
"...Thank you. I hope they'll be pleased… I have to admit, this frail body of mine surprised even me with how much it endured..."
Rafayel tapped and massaged his own leg.
"Tomorrow is finally the day you go to see your uncle, right? Make sure you ask him everything you want to know," Khazan said.
"Yes, that's the purpose of this journey. I want to hear all kinds of stories from him," Rafayel replied.
"Alright then, let's have a light meal, take a shower, and get some rest!"
Rafayel nodded at Khazan's words, then took a light snack from his backpack and offered it to him.
