Tama spoke so quickly that her words tumbled out before she rushed out of the room.
Being left alone, Rafayel watched the scene quietly and slowly tried to sit up. But his body wouldn't move—more accurately, he had no strength at all.
So it has been over a month!? I seriously can't even sit up!
As he struggled alone, Tama returned—this time with his mother, both of them looks flustered.
"My baby Raffy! Do you recognize me? It's Mother!"
She ran to his bedside and hugged him tightly. Her eyes were filled with tears.
Rafayel opened his mouth, struggling to speak.
"...Mo…ther…"
Hearing his voice, his mother began to cry silently. "Thank goodness… thank goodness…" she whispered as she held him close.
Then Tama suddenly seemed to realize something and exclaimed, "I'll go inform everyone else right away!" before rushing out of the room.
Held tightly by his mother, Rafayel could only manage to say, "Mo…ther, please don't cry…" as he gently wiped her tears.
