The journey to lagos was smooth but tiring ,amaka slept all the way to lagos ,it was a two days journey from her home town .
Sir amadi( amaka's uncle) was married to a very beautiful woman,she bore to him two pretty daughters (nkechi and ada) ,sir amadi's wife was know to be a talkactive and jovial around her community.
Sir amadi was a very busy man , he was a business tycoon,he never toyed with his work he was dedicated ,and he believed that money was everything .His love for money made him never want to let it out of his sight and as a result people tagged him a stingy man.
Mrs chika ( sir amadi 's wife) was aware that her husband will soon arrive so she prepared his meal and waited patiently for the horn,ada her daughter was also dilighted for she knew her father would bring alot of goodies from the village,not up to thirty minutes later sir amadi arrived .
He was so happy to see his wife and kid doing fine,ada ran to welcome her father but was suprised to see amaka,amaka on the other hand was suprised to see the mansion her uncle built .she was lost in its beauty and totally forgot to greet her uncle's wife .
Mrs chika was upset about amaka' s unannounced arrival ,but had to put a kind face,she jolted amaka out of her admiration spell,amaka remembered that she had not given her uncle's wife the courtesy she diserved ,after the welcoming and exchange of hugs ,everyone went inside for dinner.
After everyone had retired to their rooms,sir amadi and his wife sat in their room to discuss.
