Eating at the table with the servants, she sneakily glanced around, wondering where her beloved Yan Chen had gone.
She ate her meal hastily, and while everyone was still eating, she sneaked upstairs and opened Gu Yanchen's room door.
"Yan Chen," she called softly. She could see someone lying on the bed, but there was no response.
She closed the door, tiptoed to the bed, and slightly pulled back the blanket: "Yan Chen, why aren't you coming down for dinner?"
Hearing the gentle voice by his ear, Gu Yanchen slowly opened his eyes, looking somewhat listless.
"Are you sick?" As she spoke, her little hand reached towards his forehead, but Gu Yanchen grabbed her hand: "It's okay, go on down."
"Your hand is so hot!"
"Gu Qimiao! Where did you run off to?!" Hearing Gu Momiao's voice outside, Gu Qimiao quickly turned and said, "I'll come back later."
