In the mountains, there are all sorts of hungry insects that fiercely bite at people, and occasionally, coiled snakes appear in the grass, all of which can cause disease and death. Fortunately, she had Qiongqi refine some insect repellent which she applied on her body, thus avoiding these dangers.
On the road, she also had a head-on collision with a cluster of wild boars. In the tall grass, neither saw the other coming. The family of wild boars suddenly rushed to her side, startling themselves. Fortunately, the mother wild boar assessed her for a while and deemed her as a lesser threat and then led her piglets away with heads held high.
There are frequent rain clouds in the mountains, and in just one day, she encountered two torrential rains, both sudden and puzzling. Thankfully, with God Demon Prison in hand, she was spared the suffering of being beaten by rain and wind.
Several mishaps along the way caused her arrival at Qingjing Mountain to be about one day later than expected.
