When the man saw her, the hand that was resting by the edge of the emergency table moved slightly.
Mu Zhenzhen saw it and, almost without hesitation, grabbed his bloodied hand.
"You...you finally came..." The man let out a relieved voice, but Mu Zhenzhen remained expressionless, staring at him without blinking, saying nothing.
The man also tried hard to look at her, but it seemed he had no strength left; his eyelids almost beyond his control, about to close. He finally let out a very faint whisper, "Zhenzhen... I... I'm in pain..."
After speaking, the hand held within Mu Zhenzhen's palm went limp, his arm drooping down.
Mu Zhenzhen looked at the man with his eyes closed, and finally, tears fell uncontrollably.
Then she turned her head and shouted at all the doctors, "What are you standing around for? Hurry up and save him!"
Her voice was hoarse, utterly out of control.
None of the doctors dared delay any longer and began to perform their duties, trying to save the patient.
