Early the next morning, atop the Ninth Mountain, clouds and mist swirled, the sunlight suffused the air.
"Make way!"
"I demand to see the Patrol Angel!"
A shout shattered the tranquility.
In front of the Ninth Mountain Colonel Hall, a group of armored soldiers formed a line with their swords, blocking the way. They were forcefully pushed aside by someone who barreled through, as a group of officials boldly stormed in.
Leading them was a man in a purple robe, sporting eight-shaped eyebrows, walking with a commanding stride, exuding an intimidating presence.
He was none other than Fang La, the Imperial Censor.
Following behind were the high and low-ranking officials accompanying the emperor's decree to march into Shu, about eleven or twelve in total.
