The Tatar Tribe is a very large tribal group with a population exceeding three hundred thousand, composed of dozens of smaller and larger tribes.
Unlike the Wuliang Tribe, the Red Thorn Tribe, and the Kerelie Tribe, the Tatar Tribe does not build cities. They live at the southern end of the Monghe Mountains, in a region of undulating hills.
Their tribes are built atop low hills, and they do not like living in tents. Instead, they dwell in houses built with stones.
The Tatar Tribe is divided into six clans, including the Mongke Tatar, Anchi Tata'er, and Chahan Tatar. Much like the Wuliang Royal Court, there is also a small royal court within the Tatar Tribe, with a Tatar King.
The current Tatar King is Bai Ning, the third son of the previous Tatar King Bai Mi. He is in his thirties and is a man with grand ambitions.
The reason why the Red Thorn Tribe once again submitted to the Wuliang Royal Court is because of Bai Ning's coercion.
