At the city gate, a dozen Hu Clan soldiers were pushing the gate with all their might. It was only two feet away from closing when suddenly a tremendous force slammed into it fiercely.
Bang! The dozen Hu Clan soldiers staggered two steps backward simultaneously; one even lost his balance and sat down hard on the ground.
A Hu Clan soldier standing by the gate had his pupils contract sharply as he saw a short spear forcefully shot into the gate.
The three-inch-thick gate was actually pierced by the short spear.
"Quick, close the gate!" someone on the city wall roared angrily.
Finally coming to their senses, the dozen Hu Clan soldiers again pushed the hefty gate, their faces reddening and almost exerting their full strength.
But just as they moved the gate, another overwhelming force bombarded it. This time, they were even less prepared as they were sent flying by the force through the gate.
