The old lady heard a glimmer of hope; after so many years, no one had dared to appear and claim they would try to find a way to save lives.
"My husband is sick. I initially came out to buy medicine for him, but the doctor said his illness couldn't be cured. I don't have money either, I was just preparing to go home to take care of his affairs. Would you like to take a look?"
Tang Rao's eyes lit up, and he quickly agreed.
Blood was flowing everywhere, and the stench of rotting corpses filled the surroundings. Flies were already the masters here, occupying all the decayed bodies.
"Let me take a look; there might still be hope."
