Chapter 20 - PART TWENTY: THE NEW CHURCH GROUP.

Hannah gently tapped Kara on the back. "Kara, it's okay. The Bible tells us to forgive ourselves seventy times seven. Honestly, you haven't offended us that many times. So, we forgive you—and we want to help you through this journey."

"I want to be part of that journey, too," Iris added softly.

Hannah smiled warmly and glanced at Rebecca. Then she took both Iris and Kara's hands.

"Rebecca, come join us. You're part of this, whether you like it or not," Hannah said playfully. They all laughed, and then Hannah led them in a prayer of salvation.

"Well, I guess I'm free now," Rebecca said with a smirk. "But what are we going to do at school?"

Hannah looked toward Kara.

"We walk in with pride. We're going to bring a lot of people to God. We'll show them who the real losers are—not us."

Kara nodded confidently. "Exactly. And about that—we need to change how we dress. We can still be elegant and decent."

Iris muttered under her breath, "Yeah, dress decent."

Kara chuckled. "I get what you mean. Light makeup, neat hair, nice perfume—something that shows we respect ourselves. I might not have opened the Bible in a while, but I know this: our Father is a King and owner of all the gold. We need to show that."

They all laughed softly.

Nareen, who had been listening quietly by the door, smiled through tears of joy.

After their deep conversation, the girls went shopping and had a great time together.

The next day at school, they entered confidently. Everyone's jaws dropped and eyes widened in disbelief.

"Yo! Aren't those the church losers?" a boy whispered to his friend.

Kara heard and stopped. She walked right up to him.

"Church losers, huh? From today, that nonsense ends. Everyone, listen up!" she called out, seizing the moment to speak from her heart.

"As you all know, I'm Kara Williams. Some call me the queen of the school, some call me a villain, and some say I'm a bully. And I admit—I was all those things. Queen because I bossed people around. Villain because I abandoned my sisters. Bully because… well, you know what bullies do. But I changed overnight. And yes, many think it's strange. Fine—I'll tell you why I changed."
