Somewhere between, Mr Vincent Sanchez , the owner of Sanchez industries and a leading bureocrat of New york walked hastily with his wife Arina Sanchez, the former Miss London , currently one of the major shareholders at her husband's company. They both looked regal and powerful.
The T.V. screen , all of a sudden, was full of screams and shouts...same as the fans reaction on their favorite idols lifting their shirt . Some girl was positively howling at the figures now approaching from far. The bodyguards, this time, were much more intense than the former ones , one hand on their microphones and the other actively pushing drooling women away from the guy.
And then it happened. Just for a fleeting second. The camera caught it - the ocean deep blue eyes amongst a sea of normal coloured ones.
A scream issued. But this time, not from inside the screen. From outside, more specifically, from the girl watching the T.V.
"He's so handsome ", Bella couldn't help but stare at the screen, even though the guy had already dissapeared.
Now that the guy was gone, she picked up her remote and changed to a different news channel.
Again the same news flashed over the screen . Adrian Sanchez gets engaged to the Mina Takahashi. Netizens wondering if it was a publicity stunt. The same bullshit again...again...and again.
She wasn't very happy herself about the engagement. It seemed a very quick and abrupt decision , especially to the thousands of fangirls who spent their drooling over his fit checks and fantasizing their wild romances with him.
Same was the case with Mina's fanboys if not worse. Just like Aiden , Mina was also absolutely gorgeous. Like an ethereal beauty that leaves you spellbound. Her striking features were perfectly chiselled, with high cheekbones, piercingly blue eyes, and a radiant smile that lights up whatever room she is in. Her skin was soft and shiny with a warm, golden undertone, and her wayy hair descended on her shoulders like thick brown fur. She had the kind of beauty which could make straight women lesbian.
Not that she wasn't talented even though she probably didn't need to. Her acting was almost as ethereal as every part of her body. Even experienced actors and actresses couldn't deny that she was a natural.
"Pretty people ", Bella huffed , as her younger twin strolled into the room.

She wore dangling earrings, the kind people only wore at parties ,and high boots even on the sofa. She was ,what people would like to call magazine-perfect.
Shayna was somehow the complete opposite of that. Low bun, hair unkempt and messy, small dotted earings. Her pants were long and wrinkled and her sweatshirt ahad milk stains from her babysitting job. She looked exhausted.
"Someday, I'm gonna leave this shithole city and become a famous movie star like Mina. And then you all will watch me from this screen and remain stuck her while I enjoy Pina coladas in Bora- Bora ".
"Same monologue, everyday", Shayna thought, rolling her eyes. Bella was stupid but harmless. She was too involved in being popular to actually be a human. She quietly sat down her books on the stand and started pouring herself some coffee.
"And then Aiden will divorce Mina, and we can finally get married in Disneyland..and have my dream wedding", Bella recounted, breathlessly.
The bell rung somewhere in the distance.
Shayna quickly put down her coffee and went towards her room. Her mother was often angry these days and her anger usually was directed towards her only.
Just as she was about to pull out her chair, her door slammed shut and someone grabbed her by the neck.
"You useless, filthy piece of shit ", the woman screamed, her choke hold getting tighter by the second.
Before Shayna could even process, the woman had picked up a blade from the tablestand.
"You dare put your name in the college application when I told you not to ? WHO DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO PAY FOR THAT COLLEGE FEES ? YOUR DEAD GRANDMOTHER ?".
Slash...and blood seemed out of her hand like a fountain. The red spilled on to the floor, seeping between the floors.
"Jade", her husband had entered. He noticed the severity of the moment and pulled the madwoman off Shayna, trying his best to restrain as she kicked and flailed...screaming her lungs out.
"Leave me, James. Im going to kill this bitch tonight . She dares to disobey me ".
Shayna had torn up a a piece of cloth and tied it around her arm. She wasn't listening when a slap echoed from her cheek.
She looked up. Her father was looking at her with bloody eyes, one hand still on his wife, who seemed have to calmed after seeing her husband slap the unfortunate girl in front of her.
"How dare you ??", his voice wasn't shrill like his wife's but definitely loud and firm, "How dare you apply at Bloomingdale's ?"
How did they find out ?
The door opened once again. This time it was Bella, looking pale white and shocked. Her hand had a thick red envelope which was burnt from one side...and had Bloomingdale's crest on it.
The reply letter of course .
