Chapter 24 - Blade of Destiny

In the bustling training ground, Adonis stands, as imposing as ever. His blue eyes scrutinize the soldiers as if weighing their strength. The soldiers train intensely, yet his guidance is relentless.

**Adonis (in a firm voice filled with authority):**

"You there, hold the sword as if it were an extension of your arm, not something alien to you! The sword's power lies in the balance of your movement, not in the amount of effort you exert."

(He turns towards another, brandishing his wooden sword angrily)

"As for you, you're wasting your energy on random strikes! Imagine your opponent before you, and try to target only vital points. The heart, the neck, the tendons... make every blow lethal!"

(Adonis pauses and calls his loyal dog, Yarwa, who stands at the edge of the training ground, awaiting his commands.)

**Adonis:**

"Yarwa! Show them how to defeat your opponents precisely. Use only your claws."

(Yarwa advances, stands steadily for a moment, then lunges at the wooden dummy with a swift, astonishing movement, tearing it apart lightly and accurately. The soldiers watch in awe.)

**Soldier 1 (in amazement):**

"This dog is incredible! He's not just an animal, but a true fighter!"

**Adonis (in a calmer tone):**

"During combat, you don't need dozens of strikes, just one... but it must be decisive. That's all for today."

(The soldiers bow to him with discipline before dispersing, while Adonis remains in place, looking at Yarwa with a slight smile, as if thanking him for his demonstration.)

## Message from the Palace

(A soldier rushes towards Adonis, sweating, his eyes filled with tension.)

**Soldier:**

"Sir, there's an urgent message from the palace. The Emperor requests your presence immediately!"

(Adonis narrows his eyes slightly, then takes a moment to catch his breath before responding firmly.)

**Adonis:**

"I understand."

In the Imperial Palace, the throne room is lit by golden torches, and the Emperor sits on his throne. His face bears an expression mixed with worry and anger. Adonis enters the hall with steady steps, kneeling before the Emperor.

**Emperor (in a low, yet imposing voice):**

"Adonis, the situation is worse than we anticipated. The enemy has advanced with unexpected speed, and it seems they knew our strategy. I have a mission for you... within three days, you must stop their advance at any cost. The borders are on the verge of falling."

(The Emperor pauses, contemplating Adonis for a moment, then adds in a more serious tone.)

"I realize you haven't had enough time, but there's no room for retreat. If you fail, the Empire will fall."

(Adonis raises his head, his gaze reflecting great confidence, but he doesn't hide the tension in his eyes.)

**Adonis (calmly):**

"I will do it, sir. I will not disappoint you."

(He bows respectfully, then turns and leaves the hall. As he exits, he pauses for a moment, looks at the cloud-laden sky, and whispers to himself in a barely audible voice.)

**Adonis:**

"Only three days... it's a war against time."

(He mounts his black horse, leading his unit swiftly towards the borders, while the sounds of hooves echo in the quiet night. The scene is filled with tension, signaling the beginning of a battle that could determine the fate of the Empire.)
