"The one you're interested in is Lilachan?"
Venisi asked. Her face carried a hint of pity together with caution; her eyes couldn't stop scanning the cloaked figure next to her.
"Yes." Reverend Jazz answered honestly.
The beauty sighs, shaking her head a few times. Halting her steps, she touches Shinji's shoulder.
"You know she is older than you: Lilachan is turning 25 tomorrow."
—Her birthday is tomorrow!
Shinji felt happy about this piece of information, but sad at the same time —she isn't going to spend it with him.
Putting his emotions aside, Shinji says:
"Age is just number."
Venisi lets go of Shinji, continuing with her steps. She moves over to touch hands with her fiancé.
"You're more loyal to her than the Cavalry."
"...huh?"
Venisi didn't let Shinji question her words, as she continued —in a more pitiful tone:
"Getting in a relationship with Lilachan would mean she has to step down from being the successor of the Cavalry."
