Chapter 369 - Moving On from the Past

Mia nodded and gently hugged Mrs. Franklin. "Mom, I understand, and I don't mind... If divorce between William and me is inevitable, then like you, I hope someone can help him move on from the past."

"Mia, your mother is being ridiculous, and now you're joining in?" Mr. Franklin's tone of reprimand was more like concern.

She lifted her head with a smile and said to Mr. Franklin, "Dad, I don't think Mom is wrong. She's a mother, naturally wanting to consider her child's well-being... I've seen Hazel. Although I don't know her personality, from the way she thoughtfully helped you out of the car that day, I can tell she seems to be a kind and well-mannered girl... I think Mom's idea is right. If I can't do it, then let someone else try. Since William and I are destined to end our marriage eventually, why delay both William and that person?"
