The speculation about Aiden Collins turned out to be superficial. Aiden's earlier remarks were a probe to see if Kingsly Scott had already figured out how to outmaneuver William Franklin. Still, Kingsly had anticipated Aiden's intentions and responded with a carefully veiled answer.
Aiden chuckled after hearing it, "I'm also very much looking forward to William working with you, Mr. Scott..."
"Oh, come on, today's such a lovely occasion; you two shouldn't be talking business... Mr. Scott, is this your wife?" Mrs. Collins, evidently not involved in the business world, completely missed the undercurrents between Kingsly and Aiden. She took Rachel Foster's hand warmly and asked.
Rachel nodded politely to Mrs. Collins, "Hello, Mrs. Collins, you can call me Rachel."
Mrs. Collins nodded repeatedly, "I know your name is Rachel; I see it in the papers all the time. And Mia always tells me how much she likes you..."
