"Mrs. Scott, little Nora is asleep. Let me take her to the crib to sleep."
Rachel was sitting on the couch, feeding her daughter, when Aunt Ann appeared. Only then did she realize her daughter had already drained the milk bottle and was now asleep, clutching it, her face adorably innocent.
Rachel kissed her daughter's chubby cheek before carefully handing the child to Aunt Ann.
Ann gently rocked the baby, her concern evident in her respectful tone. "Mrs. Scott, you've seemed distracted all day. Are you worried about Mr. Scott's company?"
Rachel leaned back on the couch, her hand on her forehead, sighing softly. "Aunt Ann, do you think Mr. Scott loves me?"
Hearing her question, Ann tensed up. "Mrs. Scott, you haven't had a fight with Mr. Scott, have you?" That morning, she had seen Rachel affectionately seeing Kingsly off at the villa's entrance, a loving scene that was enviable. Now, hearing Rachel's question, Aunt Ann was shocked.
